Steve Scott, he always won with a big finish. He wasn't setting any records, but he was winning an awful lot, and was always in the hunt to win the big one.
TOM BRADY FOR THE WIN!! next sunday!

Oh but Tebow was a Heisman winner! Maybe he wasn't #1 overall but that doesn't make Jenny B not like Tebow.
She's clutch.
She's Christian. (Pre-1500m final interview-0:35) (http://www.flotrack.org/coverage/238947-IAAF-World-Championships-in-Athletics-Track-and-Field-Daegu-2011/video/505332-Jenny-Simpson-qualified-and-dealing-with-the-stress-of-1500-meters-at-Daegu-2011-World-Championships-Day-4-Interviews)
So maybe Jenny isn't as outspoken as Tebow and maybe she was a little better in college then Tebow. But sorry rojo, that's the best you're gonna get.
It's easy to hold a team to a few points when your offense eats up clock by running the ball 50 times.

Gotta go with Alberto Salazar. His form was so hard to watch but he always got it done.
CAMERON LEVINS! He seems like a gritty guy who just works his ass off and knows how to win.
Maybe Brian Sell, in his day? Not coming in with big-time PRs from high school, yet look at his blue-collar work ethic, belief in himself, and results.

POD
Back in 1994 there was this unknown college QB from that renown football powerhouse, Northern Iowa University. He was never a starter until his senior year. He was overlooked by every NFL team and was never drafted. He almost gave up his dream to play in the NFL.
He played 2 years in the Arena football league (1996-97). In 1998, the St Louis Rams gave him a tryout and they signed him. He was going to be a back-up to Trent Green. Green blows out his knee in the pre-season and this unknown free agent, who used to stock grocery shelves for a living, became the starter.
His name? Kurt Warner. He became a great QB and is a born again Christian. He has won a Superbowl and is probably going to be inducted in Canton someday. Amazing story. They should make a movie about his life.

Of course the D is a major factor in their winning. But you know what? They have stepped up their game because they believe in what Tebow can do when he's on the field. To quote Champ Bailey:
"We missed the onside kick. Then, all of a sudden, Barber goes out of bounds and gives us a chance,” Champ Bailey marveled. “We knew right then we still had a fighting chance. If you give our offense a chance in the end, good things might happen."
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/recap?gid=20111211007Quotes from the Broncos Defense about Tebow are not hard to find. They've stepped up their game b/c they have a QB who they feel can get the job done if given the chance. Tebow is then given the spotlight, and has been pretty good on following though with those chances.
Without Tebow, their Defense doesn't have the motivation to step up and put it all out there (see their performances prior to Tebow's start). And, without an amp'd and motivated Defense, Tebow isn't given the opportunities to pull through. They complement each other. Sure they're not getting the media hype that Tebow is, but that's the way football media coverage is. It's all about the QB. Sad, but dem's da breaks. The day they put their egos in front of their desire to win and actually start caring and making vocal their concerns about their lack of media coverage is the day you'll start to see the Broncos lose b/c winning as a team will no longer be their top priority. I'm not saying they shouldn't be given their due credit, but if they were to start crying about it then I think you'd see a shift in the team dynamic that has taken them so very far this season.
By the way, this is all from the point-of-view of a Redskins fan who desperately can see the value that a truly motivational persona has on a team and would give a testicle to have the same passion from the players and fervor from the fans that Denver currently has.
This is ridiculous. These guys next contract will be based on how well they play. If they're not playing up to their contract, they'll get cut (NFL has non-guaranteed contracts). Some of those guys might be in a position where they play a little better, they'll make millions, play a little worse and they're looking for a job. And you think they weren't motivated to play well when Kyle Orton was their QB?
I have a third concern to add about Tebow. What if God decides that he no longer Likes Tebow and decides the Broncos should now lose? Then the Broncos are SOL. If someone wins because God then someone else must also lose because of God. If I was in Bronco management I'd be analyzing his praying technique to make sure it stays consistent and to teach it to others on the team. I'd hold praying seminars to train the other players to pray properly so as to get the right result on the field.
Generally Odious Display
Is Tim Tebow truly convinced that God has something to do with the results of his football games BUT not in the result of the 17 children under the age of five who die every single minute on average worldwide? These children most often dying under the watchful eyes of parents who are praying harder than that hateful POS.
(There is no God.)
1;43 and 3;29 it doesn't get slower than that ;P
David Goodman of Western State is the Tebow of distance running. NCAA D2 National Champ in the Steeple Chase for spring 2011. For cross country he was 17th at the Western State home meet and some how stepped it up and at NCAA cross nationals. He finished 5th over all. Helping Western to a National title.

Haha, I got a good laugh out of this. I would say that it is not quite accurate though. The Tim Tebow of distance running is definitely the 7th man on the 15th best team in the NCAA. However, at the national meet he runs as the 4th/5th man picking up key points and resulting in a 10th place team finish. Despite the fact the the top guys all ran massive PRs, Tebow gets all of the credit...

I thought Tebow always said that he didn't think God cared one way or the other who won football games. Am I wrong, or are you just taking an opportunity for a little religious discrimination without getting your facts straight?
i agree
