He's his son.
Sisson ran decent, looked like she was being conservative, heard at the meet she has some soreness in her foot from the last week or so. Wisco's women were in fact in 5th but freshman Lavinia Jurkewicz dropped out at the last 1k she was their 3rd runner.

Freshman d-3 runner mixing it up with solid d-1 runners last year at this meet. Whatever happened to that kid?

Ummmmm she finished in 164th place. She just died at the end. Got out too hard.
His second son ran #7 (Soph) but something was a bit wrong on his foot, I think. Wonder if he will run for Wisconsin? He has stepped it up a notch this year, I think.
Kendra Schaaf had a very good opening race for the Tar Heels!
Who knows. He had a terrible nationals race last fall and then was MIA during track and we haven't seen LAX yet this fall in cross. Hopefully he's still around.
well they are suspended aren't they?? (UW-LAX male runners)

Sam Hacker says he's looking at Wisconsin, Dartmouth, South Dakota, and ehh...well let's just say Wisconsin was first on the list.

They ran at the eau claire meet on friday. Wilhemy got injured and became pudgy in his off time. He wasn't even in the UW LAX top 7

Was this course short, downhill, or what 105guys in under 25mins. Makes NO sense at all.
The high school races ran very fast as well. Footing was perfect, but it was windy. I heard they are still tweaking the split posts. I was skeptical/impressed by ALL the fast times.
If they have moved the split points from the past it must be small amounts, as they are just where I remember them. However, you might be referring to the splits that the meet management have produced. I cited a time for the last two kilos above. That split is taken from a watched started at the 'smoke' and used to relay the splits at kilos without timing mats. I remember the times because we were guessing at the final time and the finishing time was faster and finishing timer agreed with our watch when we got to the finish. The first kilo was read as 2:48, which I thought was pretty quick, but that kilo is downhill (low point is not too far from the 1km mark and the start is 40-something feet higher. I also note that the 6km point is a bit higher then the finish. Also, for those who say that there are no hills, the second kilo was much slower than the first, and by that time you have dropped ~30 feet from the high point that occurs a bit before the 2km mark.
