He could have finished. Those D Tag chips are terrible. I have had bad experiences in the past with them. I actually had to write to the timers to get my name in this year's results as my chip may have not been picked up.
By the way, to the dudes who said it was pancake flat, what are you smoking? It wasn't major tough, but that 1.5 mile incline after running 8.5 miles is not flat. A pancake flat course is Rock N Roll Philadelphia from personal experience.
I can't find anyone on this thread that said it was pancake flat. I did see where a number of people, including myself, said that the only hill of note is as you enter East Rock Park at about 9 miles.

If I remember correctly, the guy on the live stream mentioned Shay dropped out. I could be wrong though.
Well JT called it, his pick hammered it home. Cred goes out to Justin Young for pulling the freight thru mile 10 or so. The last mile was a back and forth battle of wills and great to see. At the end of the day, I don't think anyone left anything out there, a solid race by all. Glad to have seen it, thanks to runnerspace for the posting.

Yeah I hate those. Last year our teammate didn't show up in the results even though he ran 1:10, which is very good for the CT USATF team battle. Luckily he showed up in the flotrack highlights when one of the elite women was finishing so he was added back into the results. But without video proof, I wonder how many people don't show up in the results?
