DISCLAIMER...yes it is regarding a (slower) women's stardard. However in 1984 at the first women's trials a 54-year old nun, Marion Irvin, made the field.
Be careful in blanket statements such as "No 48 year old will hit the standard..." In April a 2:21 was the 45-49 AG winner at Boston, age 47 and a little tighter than the 25 minutes you claim.
