I read it this year and everyone in my english class seemed to think they were hard core deep thinkers getting into his mind and it just sucked. He wasn't even rebelious. Just a loner who thought he was. Might be good for depressed loners who nobody likes with no social skills so they can hear from someone else in that boat. Also good for people who think they are deep thinkers and try to grasp the deeper meanings of everything someone says. Even though they are wrong half the time but just think they have hard core deep minds. But for someone who isn't in one of those situations it was just useless. My opinion anyway.
Well, you're just too cool for school, A teenager.
Yes I am. You didn't need to mention it everyone here knows this. My coolness is at a level above what is the maximum cool level for being at school. I don't like hearing a whiny tosser complain for a whole novel so I am obviously too cool for school. Anyone who doesn't like the novel is too cool for school aren't they? Maby you should go round to different schools and just remind everyone who doesn't like this novel that they are a bit too cool for school. Tell them they should consider leaving and going somewhere else because by not wanting to hear from a whiny little brat they are above school in terms of coolness. If I look around at the whiniest biggest douche in my school I just don't see why I would want to listen to someone like that complain about nothing for a whole novel. The novel is overrated. Sorry that I don't like everything I read but I know coming from a teenagers perspective i'm not the only one who couldn't relate to that jerk. I also know if I didn't mention being a teenager you wouldn't be having a go at me. I bet you're just some elitist adult who thinks because i'm a teenager my opinion is crap even though the novel is made for people like me. Many teenagers hate the novel. Some people just can't relate to whiny snobs.
