As far as, how is U2 changing the world in comparison to Janet Jackson or any of the others, Bono does trek to the White House regularly in his fight against the third world debt. So maybe he will not change the world for you, or me, but he might help change the world for some people in Africa.
"-- U2 frontman Bono was thumping the Third World debt relief drum this weekend in Philadelphia, meeting with African leaders at a trade summit there. Bono tells LAUNCH that he remains committed to the issue and to getting industrialized nations to forgive the debts of the world's underdeveloped nations, making refunds where necessary so that those countries have an infusion of funds they can begin to use to help their societies grow.
"We've got a, a struggle on our hands getting the money that the governments have agreed to, because there's complications with things like (the U.S.) Congress in America and a few other places, but we are gonna get it through," he says. "And even more than the hundred billion dollars that they have agreed to, I have a feeling that the next step is realizing that debt cancellation is only the door through to really dealing with the responsibility the developed countries have for the state of the developing nations"
Well.... I am sure Janet is out there doing her part as well...
ps. Areola -nice language, I am sure your kids greatest fear is seeing ONE tit on TV for a micro second. (I didn't approve, but nor do I approve of your nonsense.)
