Great job Cabada! Nice to see you back where you belong!
Where are all the Cabada haters now. I think CaBADass needs to make another Cabada Show episode where he talks trash to the letsrun haters out there. That would kick ass!
is that the Chris Olinger that's a sophomore with the Ohio State Buckeyes? the younger brother of Brian? I thought he was in season

i don't follow the cabada threads, so i'm a little puzzled about all this talk of "haters." but anyway, i think it's safe to assume that any "hate" sent his way has less to do with his abilities than his completely gay internet videos where he is intent on making himself look like a sweet dude.
mr. cabada...if you read this...great job in your race. but seriously--think about polishing the old image a little. everyone knows you're a talented runner. many of us just get rubbed the wrong way by your cutsie little videos.
90% of the criticism toward Cabada has nothing to do with his running. HE ACTS LIKE A MAJOR AHOLE. There are no less than 50 Cabadass stories starting as far back as the knife incident at Arkansas. Most people respect his running ability. He always sees himself as a victim.
His fine performance at Twin Cities has done nothing to change those opinions. If his actions change, then attitudes will change toward him. If his performances are great everytime out, and he still acts like a jerk, he will be treated as such.
Everyone that comes on this board and defends Fernando by telling us he has had a rough go as a kid, adds to the problem. You give him permission to be a victim. I don't believe that Billy Mills was brought up in ideal situation and he has turned that situation into being a role model. Fernando Cabada has not.
FYI-- www.skinnyski.com has some great shots of the marathon. You can really see how it played out and just how wet it was in the 17.5 mile photos.
I realize the weather wasn't great, and that it was a "major" title (?), but he only ran the 465 fastest time in the world THIS YEAR. Is that really good?
