Arop and Tual are in. Kinyamal kicks out Pattison but I think it wouldn't be too hard to make this next heat quick especially with Wanyonyi, Burgin, Hoppel all might take it out

He needs to focus on the 1500.
No reason he can't double while focusing on the 1500. It just depends on the schedule - if the 800 was first at OTs theres no chance he would have run it

The 800 is later in the program so not like it hurt to double.
True. That’s a good point.
I look at Hobbs and see a potential Olympic medalist in the 1500. Not really in the 800. But, as you say, it’s not causing any harm. He was done there though. Really forcing it. You can see how tired he is.

Meh I think this event was for fun for him. Im sure when he entered it at the trials he didnt think he would make the team. No one had him making the team
