Hate to break it to you but France has a DEEP history in fashion. It’s arguably the fashion capital of the world. Also with fashion comes expression, creativity and yes even androgyny.

It’s a fashion show. Last I checked - kids are allowed to attend fashion shows. Also France most likely has a younger age for consent etc as Europe tends to in general for those regards. They don’t coddle their children like the US does.
