If he doens't win this, he's got no chance, right?
I think this race just better shows a 5k medal is a stretch unless there’s carnage after the 10K with a lot of withdrawals or guys just not bouncing back. Nothing there looked like a guy who would beat Jakob, Krop, Hagos, Kiplimo, Luis etc.
He has to kick early, he doesn't have the same top end speed as some of the others at this level. He's close but needs to kick from at least 500 out. I think he looked pretty strong, but Lobalu getting better every race - 7:27 is tough.

Yeah for her I hope the AIU is on the case as I don’t really trust Jamaicas lax anti-doping or the NCAA
Pure racism.
Racism? Check out Jamaicas testing stats. Regularly near the top in untested athletes in the top 8 of the world. What does that indicate…lax testing from the national body. The NCAA not testing much is factual.

I mean, I don't think he'll race the 5000m like that. Fisher seemed like he wanted to be the guy to take command and make the move there -- in Paris, I doubt he will push the pace over the last 1000m. Better for medal chances to sit back and let the top top guys push it.
