It’s hard to give him odds because I don’t know how the race will play out. Tim is the wild card. If Tim runs fast from the front like he did in Tokyo, then the odds of Jakob winning are 99%. If nobody sets a fast pace for Jakob, his odds plummet to just 1%.
I saw a quote where I thought Jakob was taking a dig about Kerr, put it up on the website and asked you all what you think and you are posting this? What is Merb? And how is Merb greater than me based on this quote.

He cares so much he can't give credit to those that beat him and continues to obsess about his losses, as these latest comments of his show.
What you wrote is A LIE. I'm so tired of this narrative as it's not true. I was in the mixed zone in Budapest. When he spoke, before he got to the part where we were allowed to film, the first thing he did was credit Josh.
“All credit to Kerr,” Ingebrigtsen said. “He did a good race…After 500-600 meters, my legs were not feeling as smooth as I would like them to be…I don’t feel like I could have done much different. It’s a good race, perfect for me, but just if you’re not 100% first, it’s frustrating not being able to get out your best.”
For the second year in a row, a runner from Edinburgh AC upset Jakob Ingebrigtsen in the world final as Kerr replicated Jake Wightman's race from a year ago to take gold.

"So for the people that only show up once, of course it's easy to be lucky and succeed." Gee, I wonder who he could be referring to?
Most of Letsrun are clearly confused because there is thread after thread quoting Jakob's digs against his competitors. If he hadn't made those sort of comments it would never have been an issue here.

Kerr has beaten him 2 races in a row so it’s not a moot point.
Talking about the Diamond League races is an evasion of the question. The question he was asked was about championship racing.
Unless there’s someone else willing to take it out fast and lead like Tim did in Tokyo, Jakob cannot and will not win a global championship 1500. We have the last two years as proof.
If it’s a slow race like when Centro won in 2016, Jakob won’t even be on the podium.
What? Jakob won’t even be on the podium? That happened in Doha 2019 when Jakob was 18 years old, and never again, by the way, those 2 races were so good and brave, especially 5000m.
He hasn't run sub-52 finishing a 1500. This is a guy who hasn't got near to getting below 1:46 for the 800.
Jakob hasn’t raced an 800 in years because he doesn’t care for the distance and he just has no reason to. His PRs at every other distance have improved since then. Obviously his 800 PR has too. Saying he hasn’t come close implies he has attempted to but couldn’t.
As a rule of thumb, you don't race at a distance that doesn't suit you. He couldn't run a world class 800. So he doesn't try.
Wow, huge jab at Josh Kerr from Jakob. He is saying Josh got lucky at Budapest and don't really deserve that gold medal!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's just insane comment!!!!!
What did Jakob major in university or at school???? Certainly not Physics or Universal Physics I think!!!!! Nor of theology or scholarly bible!!!!!
Jakob doesn't understand that there is not 1 single photon emitted or atom spinning that isn't ordained or commissioned by The Lord God and Savior Christ Jesus and if that's the case then how much more the infinitely larger and more macroscopic act of Josh Kerr winning Budapest 1500m gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm loving enough towards Jakob for me to advise him to read my comment on LRC and work towards both a Physics degree, and, Bible Scholar one. Once he has these 2 degrees, he is all set to understand everything and anything in this universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He will know and understand how to reason, how to persuade, how to win a moral argument.
I've said enough, Josh Kerr wasn't lucky to win Budapest, Jakob was wrong to say that because he didn't understand the laws of Physics as attended by the grace, mercy and sovereign will of God, period!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to be more forgiving in your approach to Jakob. He is not saved by grace in Christ Jesus yet. He is probably an atheist, doesn't know no God in his heart and mind.
He doesn't know that nothing can occur on this planet called earth that isn't first ordained and commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ from time immemorial or at time of creation of space and time!!!!!! Jakob was never taught that by nobody and that is why there is so much potential for him not to run 3:25 for 1500m but to repent from his sinful ways and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior Amen!!!
Amen!!!!!!
Jakob also hadn't studied Physics or Universal Physics at school for if he did he would know that no 2 events in space and time are microscopically identical and thus understood that the act of Josh Kerr winning Budapest 1500m was DESTINED AND EXCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT WAS ORDAINED BY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT WAS NOT BY CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHANCE/PROBABILITY IS ATHEISTIC, GOD IS DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chance is the illusion of knowledge of the inhabitants of planet earth, period!!!!!! But everything in and of the heavens is pre-known from time immemorial or at creation.

So, you lied, rojo showed evidence that you lied, and you don't care.
Aren't you always going on about how Trump is always lying? Why? You are the same.
Well, I think Jakob is still young and still learning how to conduct himself as an honorable man but we should still point out that he gave mixed signals about the manner of his loss to Josh Kerr. First he gave credit as you say (and we trust you Rojo!!!!!) to Josh Kerr, but subsequently dissed him with the 'next guy' comment.
Also, as I'm a highly scrupulous (both logically and morally) man by very high training and education of RF Physics, I tend to look for degrees of latitude in Jakob's body language, tone, choice of words and any other hints to his truest state of soul, body, mind and emotion after the Budapest 1500m loss. I work with tiny variables and quantities all my life as RF specialist, so naturally I bring that habit and expertise to encroach into my family, personal and other life.
I felt that Jakob may have just been politically correct and a little too off-handed when he said 'all credit to Josh' and 'he ran a good race' etc by the fact of his dissing 'next guy' comment subsequently. There has to be, and must be an emotionally and spiritually inseparable relationship between the prior and latter events since events in space and time must add up no matter what due to the immutable laws of Physics of space and time.
If I were you, I would check and recheck that video where he said 'all credit to Josh kerr' and check the sincerity or wide-ness of his smile, the level of eye contact/gaze into the camera which will signify authenticity of his comment about 'all credit to Josh Kerr' and whether there was any hypocrisy or resentment present etc, his behavior overall and consistency in speech and tone!!!!!!!! Consistency of behavior and overall output across different segments of space and time is key.
You have to psychoanalyze all these in conjunction with laws of space-time in Physics. Of course that 'next guy' comment tends very much to FALSIFY any magnanimity of heart and soul that Jakob APPEARS to have for Josh Kerr's victory in front of the camera or interviewer.
Wherever I can, I leave no stone unturned. I'm not perfect in space-time, but always tend to be perfect enough for the level of truth I'm trying to procure and dissect!!!

I wouldn't say my dear Armstrong lied outright, instead, Armstrong isn't as perspicacious or perceptive as me Khamis the RF Physics King!!!! Armstrong doesn't dissect and scrutinize to the level of the microscope as I Khamis does, you feeling me sir?????
There was a mixture of imperfect space and time events prior that led to Armstrong saying what he said and then Rojo replying what he replied, and probably a ton more of imperfect space and time events conceived and sired due to this set of already imperfect space and time events conjugating with one another, you feeling me sir??????

It should be arrogance that is educational and increasing of the human morality/ethics, you feeling me sir?????
It shouldn't be arrogance that is impudent or unreasonable.
Can you see the difference in my discretion compared to yours????
I'm cut from a finer RF cloth than you. Jakob's arrogance, but also Josh Kerr's have both gotten imprudent at various points in space and time in the past 1 year and you don't want a child or youth to witness that right??????
You feeling me sir?????

I just don't think Jakob or Josh is doping, their performances are all within the realm of my expectations given their current lifestyles with low or lower anthropogenic RF and EMF exposure in Sandes and Alburquerque respectively. Josh also trains in Seattle and given how well it has turned out leads me to think how lower the anthropogenic RF exposure is in that particular segment of Seattle he is living and training in, rather than the amount of PEDs he is taking. PEDs would severely fluctuate the performances in space and time anyway and it would be hard to link them up in 1 synergistic natural curve or graph, you feeling me sir?????

You are a brainless idiot. Rojo has ignored the comments that Jakob has made, such as the one quoted in this thread, and others before that that have produced their own threads. One compliment doesn't erase the repetitious sneers that are characteristic of Jakob towards his rivals and which have produced pages of debate and tedious justification by his cult/fans.
Of course I’m holding Jakob to a higher standard. He himself says he’s better than everyone and can beat people blindfolded. His fanboys call him the GOAT. Those things get someone to be held to a higher standard.
You say Jakob is better now. Has Kerr not shown he’s better this year?
The way Kerr beat Jakob at Pre should be giving you nightmares. It showed he can beat Jakob more than one way. Jakob can only win a global championship 1500 one way, which is a fast race with pacers. No pacing help, no 1500 win for poor Jakob.
Your comment does make sense to me.
Crucially I would like to introduce myself as very impartial, or what you would call subjectively objective. I'm neither a British, Norwegian nor American patriot or anything like that. I don't want Jakob to win any more than I want for Josh and Nuguse.
But I do agree Jakob is still very young and not completely emotionally matured and stable like perhaps a 70 year old man like Armstrong or otherwise me. A young man deals with a ton of carnal or egotistical attraction/desire in his heart and mind, you feeling me sir????
That's why a young man needs a mature and older father like Gjert to chaperone and guide but sadly Jakob dissed his dad Gjert. This is regretful and something that shouldn't have happened and a huge roadblock to Paris Olympic 1500m gold in the grand scheme of things. Gjert, a mature old man would never make a statement as 'winning blindfolded', 'next guy', thinks he is already the GOAT and seems to have zero respect for El G's 3:26:00 and his fat, thick and non-pliant shoes and sluggish track surfaces.
Gjert, in my opinion, would have taught him a better lesson as a man to always pay respects to El G the true King and GOAT, always referring to El G as 'your honor', 'your righteousness' or otherwise any other elevated standard of recognition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You feeling me?????? Even Asbel Kiprop the doper was constantly in otherwise humble prostrate in front of El G on instagram or in person.
So it's not just about running in the sport of running, any more than it isn't just about sex or sexing in the marriage of 2 human beings one a man and the other a woman, feeling me sir?????
Everybody knows the act of sex in and of itself is meaningless and of no value unless done in humble submission of unconditional love and sacrifice for one another in God. It works the same for the sport of running. Athletes need to be good examples and role models for their community, people and the world in general. They need to live not merely decent lives in speech and act but be exceptional and outstanding.
