This is where the schedule gets me a little - especially for the top Europeans. So in the case of Jakob (as an example) who is presumably running both meets, he flys out here for the meet, I guess flys back immediately on Sunday and has Oslo Thursday night.
I guess for those of us hoping to see really fast times/potential WR attempts this almost lops off 1/3 of those opportunities and it's only the end of May (I say that because how many DL 1500m/mile is Jakob running this season - he ran 5 total last season). And sure, he's coming off the injury and it's his first big race up anyway, but especially with respect to Oslo it just seems really tough. Especially if you subscribe to the historical precedent that even the best guys in history only have 3-5 seasons at their absolute peaks where they are capable of getting close to world marks.
Also at this level the best guys shouldn't be forced to pick and choose a meet based on schedule. Just an opinion.
