Right. I think he meant 'adopts'. Anyway I've met Aisha and Will and they were both incredibly nice and not stuck up at all.
No, I meant co-opt exactly as I used it, the fact that you have a rudimentary grasp of the English language doesn't mean everyone does. Google it moron.

this from the guy calling others mean, dismissive and arrogant.

Another tiny brain with the irrational argument.
Whether I am or am not mean, arrogant and dismissive has nothing to do with whether others are mean, arrogant and dismissive; both can be true at the same time. If you would like to start a thread about me being an a$$hole, I'm here for it. Knock yourself out.
Fauble needs a marathon coach. NOW. When an athlete leaves a successful program and has success for a year or two it is because of what they did previously.
Yeah, like somebody to point out that he shouldn’t eat f*cking pop tarts before an olympic trials.
Sounds like there is a story here, can you fill me in? This is the most interesting thing I've read in this thread.
Perhaps, but she was there for all of, what, 4-5 months? All in the off-season. Pretty unusual if true.
My really limited understanding of this being on the outer edge of the Niwot alumni/Longmont running crew circles is that she never really formally joined the group, she just moved home because she wanted a change and to find her love for racing again and latched on for a few months but without a long-term commitment. Just a crew to train with. She also trained with athletes from toher groups in that time.
I find it hard to believe that Cranny “never really formally joined the group (team boss)” when they put her picture on the wall of their gym to announce that she joined the team.

Watch the OT marathon? Lewis Johnson spoke with Fauble pre-race and said on the broadcast that pop-tarts were in Fauble's race morning breakfast plan. Then about half an hour later, Fauble was out of the race.
It's just a bunch of real housewives of crested butte loving and living off trust funds. Nobody works. Bossy poo originally copied Westmore plan then went awry trying to do his own thing. Emma runs an event Nobody else does so lucks out. He's pretty much decimated the others. Lots of tears. Insta posts. Parties. Netflix.
Oh and Emma pushed kid off the track and got off somehow.

What's the formality in a situation where there's no contract or tangible benefits involved? Saturday brunch with the triumvirate? Apparently having a photo posted to SM is deemed binding on LRC. 🙄

And it's not the first time; I just don't get it. I suck at running, and even I have better pre-race fueling routines. What's worse is that he's on a team with a nutritionist (Maddie A.), so it's not like he lacks access to guidance.

Based on his OTQ Marathon interview with Letsrun, it sounded like it may have been Olympics or bust for Fauble. Maybe he'll run a final fall marathon, but it really sounded like Olympics or bust.
Bosshard and Emma are wealthy, great at running, and get to live in the mountains training and traveling. That’s the life that most people on this message board want.
It’s a group without a sponsor or facilities outside of their little gym. It’s a team for misfit toys that washed out of their other groups and they have done pretty well for themselves.
From what I’ve seen it is a one size fits all bit more of the opposite, colab on a training plan and maybe cross over for some workouts together when possible.
Some people on here act like everyone else is evil! It’s running. Not that dramatic. Cranny probably wanted something different.
Training is not that complex, people are doing the same things 90% of the time
The thing is that Elise went on the Coffee Club Pod and talked about joining Team Boss. It’s not made up by a picture. I don’t think that is anything weird about people wondering about the training situation of one of the best US distance runners in an Olympic year. She talked about being burnt out. I wish her the best and hope she has found a good situation.
Yes, some people seem to not like Team Boss but also that is true with all the groups discussed on this board.
