Prior Lake invitational
Stuwe - 9:33
Hage - 9:44
Stuwe just a 10th grader, impressive time to start the season and huge PR for him. He made big improvements in Cross Country from his 9th grade to 10th grade year too. He is definitely one to keep an eye on.
I hope Hage stays healthy his Senior season, he fought injuries all last season after an impressive 10th grade year. He was top 10 at state in Cross Country and I expect his times to improve as the season goes along.
Also in the 1600 at the PL Invite Santiago 4:28, Altergott 4:32
8th-grader Semling 9:32 via his Instagram a few days ago
Solo and lapping runners, great time. Will be interesting to see if he runs at hamline, could run low 9:20s there
I wonder if the Cotter boys team can win a Class A state title next fall.
They took 2nd last fall and return 4 scorers. If they find a 5th runner, they will have a good shot at the Class A state title
Mechura 9:10
Stillwater juniors Riniker / Walsh 9:58
Nice time by Mechura to start the year! His PR is 9:00 flat at the Hamline Elite Race last year, I predict a number of sub 9:00 performances from him this year.
Rumor has it that Mounds View is creating a new meet to compete with Hamline Elite hosted at Bethel University on the same day.
Wayzata, MV, Stillwater, Rosemount are all going there instead.

That's interesting. I wonder the reason? Was there something they didn't like about Hamline?
