You obviously don't know what they make. I coached a very successful juco program and I topped out at $28,500. I eventually left because I just couldn't make it. The coach they hired after I left made $21,500.
As mentioned, the ones I know teach a couple of classes...
Except, Big Bear is a trash training location. Of all the places with altitude and the ability to drop down for workouts, Big Bear is objectively probably the worst option.
Does Sean own property in Big Bear?
But I agree Big Bear isn't that great a place to train. I went from Flagstaff to BB to train for the track trials because a teammate let me use his house in BB. I found it too hilly. I remember the flat places to run were around the lake on roads or sidewalk.
You can get to really low altitude quicker from BB than Flag. What other places are even viable in the US that are 7000 feet or higher?
My bad, I don’t think he does. Just this AM I realized that the property in upper Fawnskin is a YMCA camp, (a Facebook site said it was in Fawnskin). Pretty sure he own Mile High Running Camp, it’s an LLC &?
From my biking up there, the trails were hilly but flowing, not at all technical and pics look inviting FWIW. dustdevil is the guy to talk to.
High altitude camps: Don’t you agree that 7,000’ Park City is too far north? A slip on ice could be serious. So that leaves us with Flagstaff, BB, & (drum roll) 7,000’ Sandra Park a very short drive to Albuquerque. It’s just the rural sprawl that is bad.
St Moritz 6,000’ can have the fancy, in the SW USA it need to be more Iten like, architecture by Rick Joy.

Even 4 year college professors don't make near $100k from only teaching only a couple classes.

Exactly, this was with teaching classes.
Yes, I mentioned it the first time in my initial post. Then again the second time when you questioned it. You have reiterated it for the third time. I'm confirming for the fourth time. Are we done here?

Sorry. A few classes... Good night, you people must be fun at parties. Got me!!!
For clarity, I know a soccer coach at a JC that coaches.... soccer classes! (Must be grueling for him). He makes over 100K. I also know an accounting teacher at a different JC. He teaches 18 hours a week and makes over 100k. (I understand that he's on committees and has office hours, so please spare me the education).
Maybe I need to get Rich from CA on here to explain how California works to you midwesterners...

Over $100k in California isn't anything, you have to live in California and that's probably not even enough to keep away from the lawless Democrat no-go zones. Better off with 40K in the Midwest than have to endure the West Coast.

Tell us you've never been to California without telling us - and yeah, I've spent a lot of time in 'red state' Indiana and Ohio - stop acting like the Midwest is some sort of Fairy Land Dream World.

Somewhere doesn't need to be a utopia to beat a dystopia, the cleaniest dirty shirt (one day wear with light sweat) is better than the pink feces smeared shirt with "This is what a male feminist looks like" written on it.

My corner of California is sometimes referred to as Alabama, California. Everyone is strapped and crime is low. We're good for the moment, but there is definitely concern. Anyway, I make over 100k a year as a teacher from 8am to 2pm for 184 days a year. I have a 3400 sq ft house on an acre with a view. Life is good here, thanks.

Do tell where...I need a place like this
Look for small farm/dairy towns in the Central Valley.
