if dev doshi is ready i think they can. they would probably have won yesterday with him running!
I'm in agreement. In addition to Dev, there were at least three other top varsity runners who were not entered. Braden Herrera and Asa Fletcher who are doing their SOP, and Nate Porter, who is recovering from mild shin splints. Also, Arnav Shetty ran while ill. Expect big things from him when he is healthy.
Shetty ran a 9:15 in the 3200. And people think that Doshi is all they return
After moving across the country I joined the Newbury Park XC team for my senior year in California where I will be racing and competing this fall and spring....
The return of the highly anticipated 2023 Woodbridge XC Invite, behind the scenes with Newbury Park Cross Country team!!my instagram | https://www.instagram....
Seven guys sub 16 (Watson, a junior, won the jv race in 15:53). Eight guys at 16:02 or faster.
Not too shabby. They aren't a national power anymore but remain pretty strong in a very tough xc area.
Welcome to mediocrity Newbury Park.
The above result is in no way mediocre. It is in the top 1% of programs nationwide. It simply isn't the kind of result of a national title contender, but then the Brosnans have moved on.

Newbury Park boys team is still one of the best in the state, but not in the contention to qualify for NXN. It will be hard for them to take down Great Oak, Ventura, San Clemente, Beckman, and Dana Hills (especially with transfer Hernandez).
NP does have a lot of seniors on varsity so I can see them become mediocre next year.
Their girls team pretty much is mediocre now. They will struggle to qualify for the state meet this year. They have a lot of seniors on varsity too. Coupled with the fact that their JV team got last in yesterday’s league race, this is saying something about their future.
