Peak clown show was the endless anti vax threads here based on entirely false blogs and YouTube videos. Followed by the brain dead prediction of 2600 deaths max.

Yes! That's what I was going to say too! Everyone on Nexdoor turned on runners!
When they said the vaccines were 99% effective
hahahaha
No one mentioned the hoarding of toilet paper. The first couple of days it happened the toilet paper aisle was bare, but all the fruits, vegetables, and vitamins were fully stocked.
Hilarious to me how society values toilet paper.
Besides that, how about when the beaches were closed? Oops.
We were not allowed to travel outside of Singapore for 1.5 years (until mid-2021). I mean, if you chose to leave, they wouldn't let you back in. The airport was literally mothballed.
And the only way to avoid wearing a mask outside was to go for aerobic exercise, in limited groups (alone at the beginning, then 2, then 5, depending on the number of C+ cases recorded).
Obviously, we also had to wear a mask indoors, except at home.

I miss the cryptocurrency enthusiasts telling us to have fun staying poor
I love that the same people who were telling folks they'd be on the "wrong side of history" are the same ones telling everyone now to not dwell on the past.
I liked it when my kids' school was sending COVID case reports, and they included the remote learners in the stats. The funny thing is that the remote learners had more cases.
The pinnacle was and continues to be the clowns who claim the vax is bad for your heart while world records are getting shattered and there is a surge of people running sub-4 miles.
I miss the massive misinformation (still) all over the place, new variants, and everyone (still) confused as to what really happened
I miss the toilet paper 🧻 shortages on the shelves during the panic of March 2020 and couple months later. I remember the shortages of workout equipment ( via Amazon prime) and treadmills, appliances such as freezers.
I miss the weekly meetup.com DeFi clubs (up until maybe mid 2022) with everyone talking about crypto and DeFi staking as an investing hobby and how Vitalik Buterin is a genius and this is all the future of money and just look at Elon Musk’s Bitcoin investment. I miss the .ETH and the rocket 🚀 ships and to the moon 🌙 on every idiot Twitter profile. To the moon!!!! WGMI, HFSP, NGMI!!!!!
I miss seeing the January 6 riots on TV and all these people going home devastated that the steal they thought happened wasn’t going to be stopped…..and none of those protesters giving a toot about Covid-19 original variant smashing windows and running into the capitol building. And Rudy Giuliani going to the 4 seasons construction location to give a press conference.
Republicans screaming, "My body, my choice!" as it pertains to vaccine mandates, and then working to take away women's right to choose abortions.

Yes, I seriously think if you bought large amounts of Bitcoin you should be disqualified from holding any position of influence for the rest of your life.

Yes. Look at the death toll in highly vaxxed, locked down nations. Then compare those with lowly vaxxed nations.
