That’s interesting. Would you like to hazard a guess for why?
The most violent cities are heavily Democratic, and the most violent neighborhoods are nearly 100% Dem.
Then why is it conservatives call Dems the snowflakes? Either dems are the violent criminal thugs you seem to want us to be or we're the softer snowflake whiney types who are too sensitive.
Or, of course, these kinds of things are just the usual conservative rhetoric that means absolutely nothing.
As I'm sure you realize, it's a euphemism. When they're talking about the voting patterns of streets/neighborhoods, they're not talking politics because there is no street level government!
A straight actor has to do a gay love scene in a movie. He/she is paid to do the scene. He/she is an actor. They're ACTING!!!
In screen all those FOX news idiots are actors. If they decided to go full blown liberal tomorrow they would all be praising AOC, Liz Warren, and Bernie Sanders.
As a casual observer of right wingers help me make sure I understand this correctly. When presented with irrefutable proof that the most popular right wing talkers have been lying to them and truly believe that their favorite leader is a disaster just like Democrats believe, the response is that there are more shootings in big cities? And big cities primarily vote Democrat?

runnerboy 70 just admit the shocking truth, Tucker has lied and mislead you about everything. That is not an "assumption" its a fact.
Now let me explain why the Fox defense that Tucker is just satire/humor and shouldn't be held accountable in any lawsuit regarding damages doesn't hold water. The reasons are context, intent and effect.
(1) Context: Tucker piece is not on comedy central or the night show its on Fox news.
(2) Intent: Tucker's pieces including interviews pushing the fraud election lie, that Tucker knew was false, was done with the intent to mislead people into thinking they were cheated in the election and that Trump actually won. Tucker used the context of his piece being on part of a show advertised as a news program to add gravitas to his piece and with the purpose of gaining viewers.
(3) The most popular cable talk show was instrumental is contributing to a significant portion of the population believing democracy didn't work. (Also damage to private companies like dominion).

That is the right wing take on this news?
This sort of thing SHOULD make the hard right wingers do some soul searching. But it won't. Their entire identity is based on their politics and they are in so deep (like the entire GOP) its simply easier to keep believing/going along with the crap, rather than reflect, admit mistakes and grow/get better from the experience.

I wish this were the case, but politics has really become scorched-earth, win at all costs. The fact that Tucker Carlson cares more about advancing the party agenda than something vague like "journalistic integrity" is going to be a mark in his favor for many on the right. Trump, of course, was very clear and open about the fact that the right holds many values higher than the truth. This is not a new historical emergence; over the 20th-21st century extreme politics have rarely seen truth as very important in terms of political priorities. Discourse is a political weapon for power and their agenda; on the left and on the right -- this is of course the death of informed democratic reasoning.
Liberalism in the classical style values truth very highly and sees democracy as served by truth in media and sees democratic decision making as a form of truth seeking. It is under fire from the left and the right. We can hope that the truth comes back in style -- bad things happen when it is devalued.

This is very true. Psychologically it would be amazingly difficult for someone like fanboy70 (or the millions like him) to admit that Fox leaders such as Tucker and Hannity played and lied to them and really hated Trump and knew the election was actually fair. I can't picture them thinking, "wow, I never realized how much they lied and mislead me".
The only way they could psychologically deal with this is either to downplay it as just acceptable behavior and to think, "Well everybody lies" or redirect their attention, "How about all that crime in the democratic cities?".
Psychologically they are in a tough position. Reality is always a stern task master to those who try to ignore it.

I think that this is at least a tad too sympathetic, or thereabouts, for millions of "common man" Trumpers. That it would be harder - but still expected - for a public figure of ANY magnitude to change their tune is correct. But so many Trumpers at home with the wife Marge, a small or very small circle of friends, and perhaps a similarly-sized modest circle of family? Pretty damn easy to ease away from Trumpism. Over 6-7 freakin' years, now. No huge smear of egg on the face. No huge serving of crow. And, imagine this, actually feel BETTER about oneself for having been more honest and more decent, and a few other good things.
But nope, millions of common folks - who we were clearly wrong to romanticize for generations - can't manage this easy lift. Too dumb and/or unprincipled and/or dishonest and/or weak and/or tribal. Very, very little sympathy for them, particularly given what they're doing to the country.
I hate Trump but will still vote for him over any liberal candidate. That is how most conservatives I know are. I'm convinced that most liberals here have never been friends with a conservative in their life.
Trump knew he was lying about the election, and most Republicans knew he was lying. They repeated the lies because they wanted to create a mass hysteria in which their lies were taken as truth.
Fox News has repeatedly and successfully used a defense to libel and false reporting lawsuits that “We are not news. We are entertainment. Anybody with a brain knows this.”
Fox is on record that they’re fake news. Tucker is an entertainer. No educated conservative respects him.
No doubt that that some liberal news sources are just as fake. Americans are the problem. We can’t handle the truth. We are dumb and unable to handle complex issues (ie every issue).
Donald Trump is an absolute fraud. Joe Biden is better, but he’s too old to be president. He’s probably over-achieved. Most of us just want a moderate, regardless of party, but moderate people can’t get elected cuz left/right whackos shape the discussion.
Trumpism is a response to liberal’s excessive focus on singular ‘woke’ issues that have pushed blue collar white people away from the Democratic Party—getting them to vote against their own interests. Tucker capitalizes on that.

A few of my conservative friends and relatives sat out the last election because they refused to vote for Trump, others who think like you reluctantly voted for him. I suspect most of us have friends on both sides of the political spectrum.

And why would they want to be if you vote along party lines regardless of candidate. I understand wanting candidates that say they support your agenda. But wouldn't you want a decent candidate to properly represent your values? Doesn't having a guy like Herschel Walker, MTG or Trump make a mockery of what you believe in?
Trump is an abrasive blowhard but he has real empathy for the working Man, unlike most Democrats. He also was an astoundingly effective President,
Energy inependence, Super economy, low inflation, $2.00 gas, no problems from Putin or N Korea, Big wage gains for lowest earners, he secured the border, etc...
Democrats are more concerned with his personality than the welfare of the country...

Correct but you forgot to point out their obsession with dudes wearing dresses.
