I did find the fit to be a little off I'll give you that. Had to go a half size down but then it actually fits really well. Not sure you'd want the exact feel of other super foams on the trails, its also a low to the ground shoe so you are not going to a ton of bounce like a high stack shoe. Dakota Jones just ran 12:58 for 100 miles in it so I really don't think its missing anything over other trail shoes.
Personally I really like the shoe as it reminds me more of a racing flat for the trails than all the other monstrosities out there right now. I mean, how many other trail shoes are even as light as the Kjerag? The Salomon Pulsar? Any others?
the lack of respect trail running gets on this website is making me rethink my love of letsrun. Allie O's performances at mt marathon are legendary. she could be someone who dominates the VK and sub ultra scene. im stoked about this move and what it could do for the sport of trail running.
Alright, if you are going to down vote it anyways, might as well give you something to get your gen z panties in a bunch. Trail running is for failed athletes. Kilian gets away with doping because no one cares about a 3:40 marathon. Allie O should try to run on a track again.
People are downvoting the anti-Kilian stuff because its a vocal minority of people that think he is lying about his Everest project. While the rest of us all realize his race results speak for themselves. Just like most people don't think Kipchoge is doping most people don't think Jornet is doping. Mystery solved.
Also in case you are not aware, this 'trail is for failed athletes' stuff doesn't even apply to Kilian as this is what he grew up doing. He didn't 'switch' to the trails because he was bad at track or something.

Is there any exonerating evidence about his Everest summits? Legitimately asking as I didn't follow this story much after it popped up years ago.
I don't think any more evidence for or against it ever came out. Basically there wasn't enough evidence to satisfy the doubters yet in my mind there is also not enough proof that he didnt do what he says. The only other notch against him is his cutting switchbacks at Speedgoat back in the day. For me its just not enough to doubt him, others can choose to believe what they want.
It seems some of his claims are not rock solid and there are a lot of questions about his Everest summit(s). Mostly poor GPS records and lack of photo evidence.
Let's run's finest sleuths get to the bottom of this.
"Everest Fraud Case: Kilian Jornet"https://www.scribd.com/document/441326407/Everest-Fraud-Case-Kilian-JornetThe fraud case is also reported in 2 books of 2019:The Best American Sports Writing: 2019page 203-...
The Spanish ultra-athlete has spent the past decade crushing a generation of elite rivals and redefining the limits of human endurance. But when he notched back-to-back speed ascents of Everest in 2017, critics pounced on the...
so I’ll answer your kipchoge riddle with some math:
Everest climb was definitely a fraud + he is Spanish + he is not subject to WADA testing + huge self promoter + seems like the kinda guy that’d save his own blood bags = ….
Allie is really good for the sport. She is honest about her journey, has a great sense of humor, and makes being an athlete look like fun.
