The Houston Marathon interviewer just referred to the American flag as "that beautiful stars and bars." WTF?

To be clear, Sisson was holding the American flag, not the Confederate flag.
Great story, yes, but poorly told. ABCs coverage of this event is atrocious. Cutting away to random spectators and middle of the pack running when top 10 runners are coming through the finish. And what was up with that interview with Leul Aleme? The guy asked how his 2nd place in London prepared him for the Houston half lol. Yeah, I’m sure London was on his buildup to the Houston half. Absolutely clueless.
Parker Stinson falling off lead pack. Did he go out too fast?

It is Houston
Serious question. Looking at the results, they have M (Male), F (Female), U, and X? What are U and X? I can see N for nonbinary but they don't have an N category. Is the nonbinary category divided into two different categories now? I noticed a runner who ran as "nonbinary" (born male, transitioned to female) at a previous race is listed under the X category. Could X be male to female and U be female to male?
Japanese and Ethiopian women in ‘Thon battle drafting men pacers.
Parker back in lead pack.
Did CJ pull out?
Anna dibaba. 1;09 not bad for instagram model
I Googled ABC13 Houston. They have the livestream. I live on the US east coast and was able to watch.
