There is an Accurate Metabolism that training can bring about, that can be faster brought about by drugs.
The training is like training your aerobic threshold so the muscle cells use an oxygen rich metabolism instead of a limited anaerobic metabolism. This training is slower, to bring about a fat burning metabolism instead of a limited carbohydrate metabolism. This training is useful for marathoners+, and for all-day bike racers (where I first found it), and for mountaineers. This fat burning can be achieved in a week with l-carnitine pills, instead of 12 weeks of training. Or, marginally legal, beef diet (l-carnitine's source) or keto diet, but haven't tried it (football players swear by it.)
T&F officials want to know how human bodies react to stimuli, not how hopped-up-on-pills monstrosities react to stimuli.
