You don't know much about how testing works, do you...? Anyway, it looks like she was never injured and lied about it to get out of Worlds.
Yes, I'm aware her test could flag Adderall usage, but that would not trigger a suspension or doping violation because it was out-of-competition. She clearly had conversations about this with USATF and/or USADA and doesn't seem willing to stop taking it. As for the guy posting above, the UTMB Quartz program is irrelevant to any participation in World Athletics.
The UTMB QUARTZ anti-doping is highly relevant for Seidel if she is going to continue being an ultra-runner because I bet she will never get a WADA TUE for PEDs and be able race another sanctioned marathon or track race again

I don't think she did this as a serious ultrarunner nor do I think she will compete in ultrarunning in the future.

Also, it doesn't sound like Molly is ever going to get a TUE, so she needs to figure her sh!t out and stop taking Adderall, which doesn't do you any good anyway.
Nobody said she was going to get suspended for OOC use of Aderall. But the bottom line here is that Adderall is 100% a PED and TUEs are only approved for athletes that have a clinical history of ADHD.
From Molly's post you can see she found a therapist that just diagnosed her with ADHD in the last few months. Zero chance she gets a TUE.
And I'm not surprised she feels great taking Adderall, and you know why? Because it's METH!

It isn't meth. But adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) and meth (methamphetamine) are both stimulants with performance enhancing benefits. Adderall is safer.

Tell that to meth junkies who will happily take either

Not getting a TUE only means that she can't use the stimulants in-competition; the WADA rules allow her to use stimulants out-of-competition. As a practical matter, if she doesn't have a TUE, she has to stop taking the stimulants early enough that they would clear her system by race day.
Two questions:
1) Has WADA given any track athlete a TUE for ADHD stimulants?
2) How far in advance would Molly have to start her drug "holiday" to pass a race day test for stimulants?
On their Facebook page they filmed the finish of the runners, around the 1:52 time 'Molly' finishes. The race announcer kind of dances around the last name of SHAPIRO
Also, this is example #76768 of while running isn't a professional sport.
Imagine if Lebron dropped out of the NBA finals and was seen playing pickup basketball in the park the same day.
The biggest issue is runners can just completely dark, they don't have to answer media questions, they don't have to disclose status (like injured reserve). There is no transparency. It is a joke.
And until she decides to become transparent, I have to assume the worst based on the clues provided- doping violation.
Why would Molly or anyone else care what you assume?

Huh. Her boyfriend's last name is Shapiro
35th place is a 'Molly Shapiro' in 4:13:xx, per the results page

1. I don't think so.
2. 72 hours, although that can vary. To be safe, she would need to assume a week.
Finishing 17 miles in 4:13 is a POWER WALK for her. Walking and running are two very different things. Good for her. We have no idea what the fox told her she could or couldn’t do.
Moving for 4 hours straight regardless of pace is still a tremendous stress for someone who is "hurt".
When you consider the race had 6400' ft of climbing, all technical terrain, all above 7600' that is TREMENDOUS stress.
I would say that is the equivalent stress of her doing 20 miles at 6 min pace. If not more.
17 miles at 15:00 pace is harder than 20 miles at 6:00 pace just because it's hilly? Yeah, no. Not sure how the altitude is relevant either, for one she lives at that altitude and for another that's only stressing her cardiovascular, which is a good thing if you're trying to maintain fitness while recovering from injury.
She is injured and has an exercise addiction component of her ED that won't allow her to rest.
Publicly, Molly has described her mental health problems as OCD, depression, unspecified ED, and now ADHD. It is possible that she has 4 discrete problems, but far more likely that these are all manifestations of 1 problem. The "core issue" is likely the ED and some associated OCPD (which is different from OCD.) This is the mental health problem that many (perhaps even most) high achieving distance runners face. People with EDs tend to like taking stimulants for the appetite reducing effects.
The enormous surge of adults claiming undiagnosed/new onset ADHD are largely people with other mental health problems (although a small percentage of them may actually have an ADHD-like condition.) I mean this all in a completely neutral and non-judgmental way, there is nothing wrong with taking any prescribed substance for a mental health condition but just because something is diagnosed/prescribed does not necessarily mean it is the correct solution.
