Tuohy chose the right school if her goal is to become a professional runner. But if she has 40 years to work a real job after running, it probably wasn't the best choice. Any high school guidance counselor would tell you that. It is not a controversial statement. I guess that she may be one of the lucky ones who has a nice pro career and then finds a way to turn that into a post running career in the sport. Ritz is doing it. Shalene is doing it.
