It's clear you've never been an elite sprinter so I get the bitterness.....you can't relate to a talent of that pedigree so you make stuff up to justify your (clearly racial) bias.
As others have pointed out, the conditions were atrocious, pouring rain, cold, headwind...the worst for sprinting. It was also her opener and she was in the mix with her competition. It's not the time that matters but the circumstances of the race.
If Letsrun was a real supporter of the Sport, they'd publish more context and less trolling.
LMAO SCR has never cleanly been an elite sprinter. I can EXACTLY relate to talent of her pedigree, I was the same relative level in men’s. And guys all around me at the same level used and got better with that ~half-second bump, even set WR’s.
I’ve seen it all before, up close and personal. And lol I’m not even slightly bitter! I have been faster than all of them over the past 10-15 years, if they are still alive, and I have a great life and still enjoy working out, sprinting, and running. No ignominy, no disgrace, no personal problems, no health issues, no limitations.
And I was doing other things that mattered more to me during Olympic periods, not that I would have made it anyway.
Stop being a fanboi. I’ve got nothing in particular against SCR, I just don’t find her interesting, or worthy of anybody’s hero worship, or even respect.
