Big Allie Kieffer fan but I think she dropped out. If so, she needs to give it up. Kind of embarrasing now.
If you were a big fan, you wouldn’t post that. You wouldn’t post anything. You would think, I hope she isn’t injured, recovers fast, and keeps going if she wants to. I have enjoyed following her running career.
the bottle thing was an accident. He missed several bottles too today.
About doping, he has not been convicted, no proof, maybe he is doped, maybe not. Like most top runners... Who knows?
You have your heroes, and that is your personal business. However, don’t try to paint a portrait to the rest of us of someone not as they are: a doper and poor sport. It’s a blight and embarrassment on our federation, just as was Mekhissi, Boxberger, and Calvin.
that's you opinion, not facts. If you are embarassed, that is your personnal business.
He is not a doper, he has been suspected of doping. That are two different things.
And about who, among pros that fight for podiums in major events you can affirm : "he is clean for sure, 100%" ? The answer is nobody. So everybody is suspected of doping in this sport.

Suspected enough to not be allowed in certain races- fact. Suspicious enough to have drug dealers coming after him for their money- fact. That doesn’t happen by random chance to innocent people. Yes, it’s embarrassing to the federation. It’s strange that you hold a person like that in such high esteem, but we will agree to disagree.

I think the Valencia marathon last year was the only marathon where he could not gain entry. If I’m wrong on that, please feel free to give other examples. Drug dealers? Maybe, but I think others may think that he was framed and I think that that is what he claimed. Please remember that Amdouni came from a very modest background on the housing public tenement buildings in Porto-Vecchio, Corsica, and that he played soccer up until around the age of 14 with all the rough and tumble type of things that happen in soccer matches and outside of soccer.
One strange thing that I noticed today, in the Paris marathon, is that Amdouni has real trouble getting hold of water bottles at the later stage of a marathon race because today for example, in Paris, he was unable on three attempts after the 30 km mark to pick up a bottle of water. This, in itself, might show that his alleged water bottle sabotage plan in the Olympic Games was actually inadvertently caused by his clumsiness at the later stage of races, which may come down to physical depletion of essential storage in the body which may affect his mental state but I’m just speculating here.
I can understand people not liking him and of course many people are influenced by the media portrayal of this guy as a bad boy, but I think the vilification of this runner is over the top and when I listen to him on TV and the radio he sounds actually quite sensible, modest and self-effacing. This is actually corroborated by people who know him who stated he is actually a modest and quiet person away from the running arena. If you look at the videos of him in Kenya training, he seems to be very kind to small Kenyan children, encouraging them to run with him with words in English like let’s go, and “pole, pole,” with the last two words in Swahili.

All you talk about is rumors and opinions. Why he is not banned? No proof. We don't know the reason why he did not get a place in Valencia. They refused other elites not involved in any doping suspicion. I'm not saying he is not doping, I don't know.
"a person like that" do you know him? How do you know what kind of person he is?
I don't know him, he is not my hero. But I respect his carreer. It so easy to spread hate behind a screen and I dislike this kind of behavior.
Eventually, do you think El Gerrouj, Bekele, Kiplimo and all the random kenyans and ethiopians that pop from nowhere to world class every year were/are less suspicious than him? Do you say "that kind of person" when you talk about them?
the problem is not the speed but the lucidity after 30km
That is absolutely correct and today after the 30 km mark at one point he missed three drink stations (unable to pick up the bottles) in quick succession and I’m thinking WTF? and please excuse my language…
Good catch Ghost with Iguider. I wouldn’t say he’s a natural on the roads with that result. It’s not bad and clearly he’s strong, but his days as a competitive runner on the circuit look to be over. I think expecting something exciting like a sub-59 half is unlikely.
On the best range convo, I couldn’t help but think about what Lopez Lomong might be capable of if Jerry would give him a chance on the roads. He’s 37 and a long shot to beat out the young guns even in the 10,000, so perhaps we’ll see this Fall.
I doubt that very much and it is probably a question of being fooled by her ultra short haircut which makes her look somewhat reminiscent of an adolescent school boy but many Kenyan female runners, especially at a young age, tend to adopt “short back and sides” for pragmatic reasons. You don’t want to be running a marathon with a huge Afro on your head.

Get as angry as you want. There is no hate from my side, only dislike of cheating. Ask yourself: is it normal to have WhatsApp messages from some random person threatening your life unless you pay for your Epo and growth hormone? To train for weeks in qatar then withdraw from the world championships and disappear before the festival? How about a drug informant being threatened with death by amdouni’s friend because of he “work together with the anti-doping agency like before"? So yes- “a person like that”. Dégueulasse.
Regarding anyone else, I do not know enough to comment. Did any of them have friends threatening drug informants?

It was more her brow ridge and jaw shape, obvious Adam's Apple and slightly receding hairline showing male pattern, coupled with her typically male running gait indicating unusually wide shoulders and narrow hips. Quite a deep voice too.
