Well I guess we can say that for all sprinters actually, hey kid train for the hurdles you can do it.
I see nothing that tells me......great hurdler here.

Bowling is done. Stop hyping him up. Hes not gonna make it in the 100, 200, 400, long jump, or decathlon.

Why do you feel that way?
Actually he vaulted 13' in high school and high jumped 6'7 No records of his throwing background. Olympic decathlon champion Warner has actually long jumped further than Boling's 27+ If Boling could consistently add 6"-12" to this PR he would be on the podium on the world stage for the next 7 years+ That's sure'd be easier to do than learn all the decathlon events which would also earn him less money. The Wheatie Box era is over. Sports marketing considers someone like Shaun White to be the World's Greatest athlete for winning gold in the Winter Olympics in snowboarding and the summer X Games on a skateboard, not someone who finishes their performance running a 1500 at college women's speed. The "goldern era" of the decathlon is over.

Once again letsrunners refusing to read the obvious. Dude has shifted his focus to long jump and that's what he's going to be doing - long jump. 8.25m is enough for top 6 worldwide,
No it is not. To be top 6 worldwide you have to be better than 8:40M
Yep...

His distance would have won the bronze medal at the Olympics.
That's somewhat of a silly comment:
The winner: Tentoglou has a PB of 8.60M
silver medal: Juan Miguel Echevarría has a PB of 8.68M
Bronze winner: Masso has a PB of 8:39M
4th place: Eusebio Cáceres: Has a PB of 8:37M
5th Place: Juvaughn Harrison: Has a PB of 8:47M
6th place: Yuki Hashioka: Has a PB of 8:32M
7th place: Thobias Montler: Has a PB of 8:31M
8th place Tajay Gayle: Has a PB of 8:69M
Had everyone jumped their PBs or better, 8:25 would not have been in the top 12 at the Olympics. There is no way to know if Boling would have jumped another 8:25 or gone farther or not even reached 8:00M.
Just leave it for what it is worth that Boling seems to be improving as he just put down a great jump.

This type of ignorance gets annoying. Just because someone was a great athlete in an event doesn’t mean they can coach it. In fact many or I would say most great athletes have no idea why they were great and are poor coaches.
Wasn't Salazar a runner?
Wasn't Stephen Francis of Jamaica a runner?
Tom Tellez was an athlete.

Guy makes the Olympic A standard in first meet of the year with a distance that would have taken bronze last summer.
Letsrun: he's not that good.
Just because someone runs a 10.05 doesnt mean you can just assume they can get down to 9.9 or better and contend for medals.
Just because someone jumps 8.25 (which btw is only worth 1192 pts) doesnt mean they can make up the difference and become elite to contend with medals.
And Juvaughn's PR would have won gold. But he didnt jump that. A lot of people didn't. Several people went into that olympic final with PBs above 8.60 and near 8.70. Again, American fans are delusional.
Let me know when he can jump 8.5m, run sub 9.9, or run sub 19.8. Then he's in the mix. Until then, stop being delusional.
They are not delusional. It's more that they lack critical thinking skills.
Boling is amazing. He is still only 21 with PRs of low 10 in the 100, low 20 in the 200, mid 45 in the 400, awesome relay results/experience, and 27 feet plus in the long jump. He is a champion and a competitor.
It's a simple, factual statement.
The distance Boling jumped yesterday would have earned a bronze medal a the recent OG.
Surely everyone who needs 8.25 to be in parentheses has died of old age by now.

This.
Was never big on Boling as a sprinter, but credit where credit is due. Nice jump.

Amazing will work, a freak....nope!
Why would that be? 21 10.1/20.1 that's not a sprinter?
It’s all on here. Fundamental flaws in training methodology due to inferior coaching were the big thing, and early 200m window slams shut quickly. Took a look on here at the ages of 200m prodigies and what happened to them.
Again, nice jump.

Bruh he been knockin on that door for years. Hes not getting in. 😂💀
Maybe you’re right, but how can you be so sure? He still in college! Most sprinters do not hit their peaks until well after college age.

So where do you see Boling ending up?

That is very true, most don't peak at 22, (have seen HS kids never progress, bur most the time)
