If the moderators and owners of the site have already vocalized biased positions and have engaged in the quarreling (in fact, even promoted it with posts like yours), who do we have to turn to to ask for moderation? Are all users of the site going to feel confident that their concerns are going to be fairly heard and addressed?

So I implore you to step back and play referee, rather than stoking the quarreling.
