Is anything known about the state of the “human remains” found that the cops identified as her?
- The FBI
Is that not supposed to be public information?
- No if it is a murder case. If it is a natural death the family has to agree to make the information public.
Seems like the condition of her body could help fuel a lot of online chatter about what he might have done to her.
- That is not how odd death cases are solved.
This is a public soap opera after all keeping the country hooked.
- It is an atypical case. The guy leaves the girl in a campground. Hightails it in her car back to Florida. First stop is hiring an attorney. First statement is taking the 5th and the Florida police let him do as he pleases. His next step is he disappears the day before the body is found (He drove to a wilderness area his hike but his car was found at his parent's home). The body is found and the an experienced FBI agent voice breaks down not because it is personal but because there is something very odd with the body).
- - This case will get a lot uglier. And it will remain news until this guy is found and tells what he knows. His running to hide will keep this in the news.
