I agree with the spirit of a lot of what the CCP is saying but definitely wouldn’t want the government enforcing it (even if they could).
It is nice to see the “weirdness” that you see in the United States with gender fluidity and the anti-masculinity movement isn’t unique to the west. Asian countries are obviously struggling with something similar to such an extent that governments are starting to feel like they need to step in.
China may be on to something here.
Essentially China is banning the loud squeaky voiced gay men who are too annoying to watch. A radio station in L.A. that used to be listenable hired 3 squeaky voiced annoying gay men and I removed that station from the list. It’s literally ear bleeding stuff how they talk and laugh in such high pitched voices. Obviously China won’t use those words because it sounds worse than the politically correct term of banning effeminate men.
