Anybody watching live on USA? The commentators are hilarious. Saying Rupp is "shadowing" Kipchoge. Kipchoge got water so Rupp got water. Kipchoge got ice so Rupp got ice. Are you serious? That's a bit over the top, innit?
Jake Riley 15:40 through 5k running conservatively. There will be carnage up front, too hot for the majority to run 2:09 pace.

Absolutely
Kitata about to drop with hamstring???
I hope your right. Slightly worried because of what he said before the race about going for it.
Looks like 2:10/ 2:11 pace now, just a slight slowing.
2:10:20 pace through 10k

That's what the announcer mention. Kitata out.
Cam Levins and Abdi still in lead pack of 50.
Only 46 in the lead pack at 20k, Abdi at the back.
10k
Leigh Diffey went on a monologue about how Jake Riley told him that he was “just going to go for it” and “leave it all out there” today. Meanwhile, Riley couldn’t make it with the lead pack through 5k. Christ. Shades of Ryan Hall in Beijing. At least Hall had an excuse — Wanjiru went out hard. This is slow and yet Riley can’t hang???
The Ugandan Kiprotich out!

"Slow"?? Guys are dropping like flies in this heat.
Yes it was perfect timing. Had to squeeze in those comments super early but wasn’t early enough.
Right at 3:05 K pace at 12 K.
Was never going to be a factor at the front but that's a shame

It's only slow for a 2:01 marathoner in this heat. Race started an hour later than the women's, carnage will be greater
