The thing that makes Chemutai, Hassan, etc. look like they are almost certainly drugged up is that they can do "superhuman" things, change gears, kick hard at the end of an already world class fast race and drop everyone, all while looking like they are out for a jog. After crossing the finish line others are falling over in exhaustion, sweating profusely, sitting or crawling....while Chemutai and Hassan, etc. in their respective races look like they haven't exerted themselves physically at all. They are fresh, bouncy, walking or hopping around like they are getting ready to race, not like they just ran a 1500m or 3000m SC or 5000m or 10,000m in the Olympics. They don't even try to hide it or fake it.
It was a 9:01, it wasn't superfast by global standards. Chemutai had a strong kick but the pace was not superhuman by any stretch. Coburn is probably so upset because she knows that if she executes correctly, she could have taken gold in a race of this pace.
9:01 in 90 degree/highhumidity is blistering fast, which is why the rest of the field, full of sub-9 women, was spread-eagled, while Chemutai looked like she was out for a stroll with an iced tea.
