As he said post-race, the effort and proof of fitness is the difference between this and running 3:33.
It was a great run, but if you watched the 3:28 guys this year you would know that in the races they've run they are far more interested in racing and winning than running a specific time. This makes sense because it is an Olympic year and time is irrelevant there as well. Do you really think Josh Kerr is in the same league as Jakob? Jakob has run under 3:32 over 10 times in the last 3 years!
