great knee lift, good low heel on the cycle through...if this DK does a 10.37 and moss was prob a 20.6 after one week of practice he was a low 10 guy...with sauce and full training he was a 9.8 guy EASY

If moss could run around 10.5 with no training how is he 10.0 low in a week? How is he 9.8 ever?Dk was likley a 10.5-10.6 guy without training, practicality the same as moss.

ughh moran....moss did ONE indoor track meet on a sh*t 200 track that wasnt banked and ran a 21.15. if he ran on say LSU or arkansas indoor track he would have done a 20.6 minimum, can you even understand a 6'5 guy rolling 21.15 on a sh*t 200 track thats not banked?
so a 20.6 indoor is worth a 10.2-3 off ONE week of training. this isnt that hard to understand. so if guys running 10.2 can get down to 9.69 (tyson gay) then why couldnt moss? 6'5 with a 44 inch vert, i dont think his start would have been slow
No his 200m could have been just be than his 100m like Micheal Johnson.
His 55m suggest 10.4 at best and 10.6 at worst. As I said DK was likely at 10.5- 10.6 guy with out training.Moss likley runs 10.35 after a season of training and 10.15 after a few seasons.

i was wrong he didnt even have a week of practice
"It was the Monday before the 1997 Southern Conference indoor track and field championships, and Marshall's team was in its final preparations to head to Johnson City, Tennessee, to compete. Moss, in between his freshman and sophomore seasons, showed up to his first track practice that February on a Monday. The team was scheduled to head south on Thursday morning, so there was not much time to get Moss meet ready.
"We didn't really teach him much at all," Small said. "We taught him some drills on Monday and we spent a little time in the blocks on Wednesday."
"Then, on Saturday, Moss won both events again and eclipsed the school records he set the day before – 6.32 seconds in the 55 and 21.15 seconds in the 200. Marshall won its first indoor men's championship and Moss collected the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year honor.
"It was incredible," Small said. "He hadn't run a track meet since like his sophomore year in high school, and to run that fast ... I would have loved to see him try it full time."
Moss qualified for the NCAA championships in the 200, but did not run. He never competed with the MU track team again, but had delivered on Small's recruiting pitch.
"He could have been the greatest 200 runner in the world," Small said. "I always said the fastest people in the world were NFL defensive backs, and we saw what he did to those guys."
what is the conversion of flat 200m time to banked 200m time? do the math.... and agin on less than a week of practice
Converts to 20.77 if those conversations are accurate.

Honestly better than I was expecting, still got DFL in his heat. Odds he goes faster before trials?

Bottomline is do it in lingerie or it doesn't count.
False start: Wasn't wearing bra, panties, and nylons.
Buzzer sound. Disqualification goes to DK Metcalf. Wasn't wearing proper track attire.
So the 10.36 doesn't count. Nice try though.
Yup. First man under 10 and epic performances for double gold in 1964 Olympics. Oh, and a NFL HOF/SB ring.
so lets say we give him 20.77 on just block starts for 2021 season, puts him 14th, a 20.60 puts him 8th
and people are trying to argue with me lolz

A 10.5 guy can run 20.3 not every 100m runners 100/200m ratio is the same. I also said if the conversion is accurate, I don't think that a banked track gives you a full .48 sec advantage.People have overestimated many nfl players speed, him running past defensive backs the probably cant run 10.9 isn't that crazy.
Sorry .38
cant seem to find it, but can anyone find the best times ever for flat 200m?
I'll do some searching

Also on a side note i'm still winning in the overall athlete category vs Metcalf.
Metcalfs max bench press was stated to be only 365 lbs. I'm now at a 430 pound bench press at 6'0 and 216 lbs body weight. A full 15 pounds lighter than Metcalf and benching 65 pounds over his 1 rep max.
And i'm pretty sure he doesn't deadlift 630.
I just did 547.5 for 4 reps on an olympic barbell which translates to 582.5 for 4 and 630 for 1 rep on a texas deadlift bar.
So looks like I'm winning in the overall athlete category against Metcalf. Metcalf would win against me in up to 650 meters. Anything after that I win in from 800 meters to a marathon.
I would also beat him in the shot put and javelin. As well as basically everything else in the gym.
Does metcalf leg curl 320 pounds? Didn't think so. Does metcalf smith machine pause raise 475 lbs to 545 pounds? Didn't think so.
Can Metcalf even squat anything worth talking about?
Didn't think so.
I win again.
The only person who can now compete with me is a 31 year old Vernon Davis. Too bad Vernon isn't 31 anymore and too bad he only benches like 350 now at 37 years old or whatever and no longer does his 480 max PR.
Last time I heard was Vernon was afraid to go heavy in the gym anymore. Awww poor baby.

Didn't find anything but I looked at a few of these guys outdoor prs (the southern conference 200m champs) vs the times they ran on the Tennessee etsu flat track, and the difference was like .2 to .4. Moss would likely be running 20.75-20.95 outdoors, if you assume the same applies for him as the other athletes.
Didn't he squat and deadlift 585 as a high school kid, weighing much less
But maybe banked tracks are almost as fast as outdoors
Interesting that DK has been training since January. His two obvious areas to work on are drive phase and body stability at top speed. He had his head up and upright posture by 15-20 meters, way too early. If he had stayed in drive phase longer, he would have probably hit a higher top speed. At top speed he clearly looked uncomfortable, not relaxed. And that was where he started losing ground. With good coaching and practice, he probably could get close to 10.1 low, or even lower in optimal conditions.
I thought it was interesting that posters kept talking about how slow he’d be out of the blocks. NFL players at almost every position focus of explosive movements at the start of a play, and focus on training for power for the first 10-20 yards. Their power-to-weight ration is probably equal to sprinters. They don’t train top-end speed because they rarely get a chance to use it.
