Froze on my roku, froze on my phone, froze on my computer at 38.0.
Sigh we just can’t have nice things in 2020.

Should’ve just done a FB or IG live.
I stayed up an hour past my bedtime for this sh!t??
I sat through that commentary about the space race for this?
What was the 400 split? He looked pretty solid through 200 but after that...
The stream needs to be disinfected.
mine also went out at 38. ridiculous.
Stream isn’t frozen anymore but if you try to watch past the 300m mark it just skips to the current time. Maybe they’ll have a video up tomorrow?
Women’s results???
And at 39 seconds they entered a wormhole and were never seen again.
Rojo is this an "F" grade? He didn't come close to the WR, let alone the AR.

Close. I am still in amazement at the amount of "knowledgeable" track followers here who legitimately thought he was going to run under 1.42.
This is a superb run from him as it is
Well there was a lot of hype and he did run 1:42 in the past more than once. I don't think 1:41 is unreasonable. But in an 800 those 2 seconds are a big difference.
Anyways this was quite disappointing. I was looking forward to watching this only to have the live stream freeze exactly 38 seconds into the race. And then realize the rest of the race does not exist on the feed. Can't even watch it.
live results/splits

1:41.72. Book it.
hahah nice prediction bro. "Book it". Honestly I can't even with the jabrones that were predicting sub 1.42 here
In what world is a 1:43 an F? Monaco is the focus dude not some meet thrown on by pdx.
50.8/53
so it would appear the pacing for the first lap was bad. probably tough to keep the adrenaline going on 2nd lap knowing the first lap was as slow as it was.
or maybe that's what they were going for. I would have thought they were going to try to practice a first lap split for record pace.
I would love to know what grades each of you would give yourself.

It super unreasonable. Go check the other thread on Brazier running Monaco. Sub 1.42 has been run 15 times in the last 20 years. You guys were talking about it like it's a regular thing on the circuit and what, because he ran 3.35.9 off a slow pace that was an indicator of sub 1.42?! Rudisha alone did it 7 times in 3 seasons and he's the greatest time trialler ever seen over two laps.
I mean do you even understand the type of pacing he needs to run 1.41.xx in a meet like this? Even the pacing to run sub 1.43! The pacemaker was guy tapping out at 1.17 for a 600. He needed a 1.44 runner running 61 seconds through 500m for that to be a reality
I really was being positive with 1.43.4 because I thought he might really test out 4-600m. But it's not easy and he's only human. Again, I think 1.43.8 is freaking sensational under the conditions and hopefully people don't see it as a disappointment.

Brazier will run 1:43 mid and they will say he looked like he was jogging.
I think this is the most likely outcome, and we’ll have to wait till Monaco to see a concerted record attempt. I hope I’m wrong and he runs aggressively tonight.
He looked like he was standing still!
