Tell me if you’ve heard any of these names before: Milkesa Mengesha, Tadese Worku, Oscar Chelimo, Leonard Bett, tsegay kidanu, hosea kiplangat, Edwin bett, samwel Masai, Samuel kibet, Gebregewergs Teklay, Dinkalem ayele, George Manangoi, Edward Pingua, Stanley Mburu.
No? All these guys have beaten Jakob in u20 but can’t compete in international completion like Track championships or Olympics because Kenya Ethiopia and Uganda are filled with runners that are extremely fast that no one has heard before. Wale who got 4th in Doha in steeplechase is a junior who could become an excellent 5k runner. Takele Nigate is also a junior steeplechaser who ran 8:09 in Monaco last year. Not to mention Rhonex Kipruto and Selemon Barega who are still juniors. And Kejelcha who is very young as well.
I wonder if CHEESEWIZ is still around to comment on how he thinks the above mentioned East Africans are doing against Jakob.
As far as I know none of them has beaten Jakob since that time. And that includes Kipruto, Barega and Kejelcha (even though the latter was close last week when Jakob had tired legs).
