Fourth in 15.00.32, current NCAA champ over 3000. Ranked 25 at 1500. Put it into perspective: only 12 women ran faster last year, would have won the US champs [indeed, no American woman has run that quick this year], would ha...
Don't know if there is anything left to add, but after watching that 2000 meter world record, it is apparent that she has found a whole new GEAR and she isn't afraid to use it.
July 21, 2023: 4:15.34 to finish 5th in one of the most loaded miles in history (~3 second PB)
July 12, 2024: Comes through 1600m in ~4:17, closes in ~62.

So, approximately 4:13.8 high for 1600m last year and four seconds slower with another lap to go this year.
It is about time to clean the circus. No one right in his mind believes that recent performances are clean. Recent results in the 800m, 1500m, 2000m, 3000m as well as 5000m are only possible with steroids plus good old EPO. Some maybe clean but majority clearly not. It is either masking agents or some federations protect their own cheats.
What do you think she's been using then, both steroids and EPO, or something else in addition?
I have not read this entire thread so my apologies if this has already been addressed.
To a fan looking from the outside, Hull appears significantly leaner this season than previous years. This can have a significant impact on her performances. Whether PEDs were used to achieve this and/or her big time leap is something I have no way of knowing.
PEDs are almost an accepted path of the sport at the top level, so while I am not accusing anyone of doping, there is also no one's discovered use that would shock me.
pretty much my view. You are not guilty until u r caught. Yes, we can assume who is clean or not clean, often with good reason, but it is up to to the testing regime to be good enough to catch those who are dabbling in illegal PEDs.
In such an environment, as always, I am hoping Hull wins a rare track medal for Australia, in one of the toughest and most competitive Olympic sports that is running.

You unwittingly provide the answer to an interesting question: What what the reaction here be if an elite Kenyan runner suddenly dropped seven seconds in the 1500?
Is that what it all comes down to, looks? If so, that's quite sad.
However, there's a long thread attacking Sedjati, who "looks fine" to me, and has a comparatively normal progression.
She is doping. Now we are getting into Armstrong territory.
For those who are certain Jess Hull is doping, let me ask you 5 questions.
1. She ran 3.55.9 at Pre on 25 May 2024 and then ran 3.50.8 on 7 July, 6 weeks later. Do you think she started doping after running Pre and this explains the 5-second improvement in those 6 weeks?
2. Alternatively, do you think she started doping before the current season, which explains the 7-second drop in her PB?
3. 3rd option, do you think she has been doping for several years?
4. If 2 or 3, how do you explain the 5-second drop in 6 weeks if she had already been doping for months or years?
5. If you think 1, are you saying she has just started doping in the middle of her career, in the middle of the season, straight after running a 2-second PB?

Option 2. Things didn't start "kicking in all the way" at Pre, but we started seeing signs of some extra speed reserve and strength that was uncharacteristic for her at that race.
After Pre she gained more confidence with the new found "speed reserve" and was was really ready to "let it rip" for a 3:50.
She already looked like a totally different runner at Pre this year....just didn't quite fully hit the gas....
