I believe you voted for a guy because he promised to jail one of his political opponents - Lock Her Up... Lock Her Up... Does that ring a bell?
i believe you are missing the point. No Trump voter is "outraged". what we are is dug in for the battle at the box. Trump, if you happened to see his wedding crash speech, can handle himself. I will just hit the booth with the usual pro #2 support myself, and i dont see the current bribe taker on my side. so be it. another year, another vote. through it all, the biggest loser is DeSantis. He had it made, and now, he is toast. I would need to write in Trump if the Government deals me that hand. because when it comes to the choice between 2 #2 supporters, then i go to the next criteria. insider vs outsider. gotta take the outsider.
Nice word salad.. let me make it easy for you: "I love trump because he's entertaining, understands me, and he's best at owning the libs."
If Trump is indicted for lying about election results, don't we have to charge Biden similarly for lying that Hunter laptop is Russian disinfo.
Trump wasn't indicted for lying about election results.
Trump has been charged with four counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights.
By the way, you have to love that his own lawyer admitted to the second charge when he said “What President Trump said is, ‘Let’s go with option D.' Let’s just halt, let’s just pause the voting and allow the state legislatures to take one last look and make a determination as to whether or not the elections were handled fairly."
See, when you take action to HALT or PAUSE an official proceeding that you have no legal right to HALT or PAUSE, and you work with others to plan to do it, and actually do it, you have committed the crime spelled out in the indictment (conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding).

Thanks for the nonsensical "legal analysis". What law school did you attend?
I'm sure that you would be eager, proud even, to share with us what time of day he told the "people carrying flags" to go home.
Then we could examine the full context by considering what had been happening at the Capitol for the minutes, even hours, prior to that message, and we could determine whether the Commander in Chief had acted reasonably and in a timely fashion to uphold his oath to the Constitution.
When, to the minute, did he send that valuable message?
When, to the minute, did he tell them to go into the Capitol?
Can you show me where in the indictment he was charged with that?
The prosecution is miles ahead of you on this issue.

People don't get charged with crimes based on who else got charged with a similar unrelated crime.
And Trump has not been charged with lying about the election results.
Trump was charged with:
- Conspiracy to defraud the United States - knowingly conspired to change the election results
- Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding - he instructed the Vice President to not sign off on the official results in the January 6 proceedings and sent his thugs to the Capitol to disrupt and successfully delay the proceedings.
- Obstruction of and Attempt to Obstruct an Official Proceeding - Jan 6
- Conspiracy Against Rights - he conspired to threaten and intimidate people for having the correct votes counted.

Yeah, but the basis for the charges is that Trump made "knowingly false statements." The problem is that he can tell lies at will because of the first amendment. The charges are a huge stretch and the Supreme Court will never let any conviction stand.
Pretty lame, Milhouse. We are 3 days into this stuff, and that's the best thing you could find on Twitter? Come on, man.
Oh, so you can't argue the facts? We all know the laptop is Hunter's. And Biden lied about it in the debate. That lie should be charged according to idiots like you.
No, I'm pretty up on the facts. I can argue them quite well. I think I've shown that in this thread.
I was just pointing out how lame your post was. You get zero for effort. Your premise "If Trump is indicted for lying about election results" is a really lame take. That meme died on the vine days ago, no one even uses it anymore. That's just C-level Twitter stuff. Doesn't work here. And then the extremely tired whaddaboutyou segue to Hunter Biden's laptop. Just lame deflection, man. Been done thousands of times. Find better stuff. There has to be better stuff on Twitter to copy over here.
This is the end for Trump. Sure he gets an immediate boost in popularity from Republicans who feel sorry for Trump and anger toward the Dems. Trump is very popular now, but Republicans will grow weary of Trump and the continued bombardment of all facts of his illegal con job. Republican candidates will very very gradually increase criticism of Trump.
Republicans will look elsewhere for a candidate who channels their anger and hate, and who promises a pardon (for the federal charges) for Trump. DeSantis appeals to the angry voter and he might get a gradual resurgence if he can stop being an idiot.
This is the beginning of the end for Trump. His brand of "the winner who owns the libs" is over. Even Melania has jumped ships and is nowhere to be seen to support her husband.
He is a sad loser. All that power he had with the presidency went to his head and was the cause of his demise.

The indictment isn't just about lying. It's about actively trying to overturn the election, the results of which had been certified by each state in accordance with the Constitution and federal and state election laws, and which held up in court to numerous legal challenges by Trump and his supporters. What Trump tried to do is unprecedented.
What he thinks is irrelevant. The term "knowingly" has nothing to do his personal delusions.
Ironic that you don't understand the legal definition of knowingly given your chosen screen name.
I'm not the one that doesn't understand.
The term knowingly, refers to his knowledge of his own actions. It indicates that he was acting consciously, of sound mind. In other words he knew what he was doing.
He knowingly put forth the idea that the election was rigged after being told it wasn't. He knowingly conspired to put forth fake electors.
His personal beliefs are irrelevant.
The only way to argue that he didn't "knowingly" do these things, is to argue insanity on his behalf. Are you saying Trump isn't culpable because he is mentally ill?
Yeah, but the basis for the charges is that Trump made "knowingly false statements." The problem is that he can tell lies at will because of the first amendment.
And yet one of the Ten Commandments is: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour." There seems to be a discrepancy between the Constitution and the Bible.
So Jonsey, does the Constitution overrule the Word of God? Or are there footnotes in the Bible that are only visible to the devout, allowing certain bits to be waived when convenient?
Ironic that you don't understand the legal definition of knowingly given your chosen screen name.

This is exactly why the substance of the indictment is not being covered on the right, at all...

"after being told it wasn't" LOL!
They weren't "fake electors" they were electors who disagreed with the outcome.
Democrats made the same objections to the outcome of the 2016 election in January 2017.
