I think the US will be sick and tired of a geriatric president by 2024, that we should see some younger representation in both parties. Trump wasn't exactly a spring chicken while president and will be the same age Biden is now if he runs again. I don't know that America wants to continue with the old folks home candidates.
And that changes things how, exactly? Lol. Talk about grasping at straws.
"The woman" was Mark Meadows' chief of staff. What does she stand to gain from lying about any of this? Her career in republican politics is now over. Trumpers will make her life hell for the foreseeable future. She testified under oath and provided details that other witnesses are able to corroborate. She is infinitely more believable than the Trumpers in Congress who are gnashing their teeth and calling her a liar while refusing to testify themselves.
I don't know about you but when I go on vacation as a tourist, I bring my A15 or glock, camouflage fatigues and like to station myself up in a tree all the time....
How do you live with yourself?? Every loyal trump worker is lying??. Whenever ever they tell the truth about Trump you tell yourself they are ALL lying??
The are life long devoted republicans doing the honorable thing and you just say they are lying.
How long can trump cult members keep up this total delusion?
You fell for fake news, fool. Trump was never in the beast. Bahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
Imagine being so stupid that you believe these fantasies.
This witness has ZERO credibility. Amber Heard 2.0 & Jussie Smollett 2.0
Enjoy your loss.
Let me try and understand what you're saying. If someone calls the heavily armed presidental suv "the beast" instead of the heavily armed limo then that must mean that every thing they said is a lie. When in fact the suv was often called the beast 2.0 in articles when it first made an appearance. Because you don't approve of the vehicle nickname being used then it must mean its all lies. You're grasping at straws. The truth is coming out and today's testimony has kicked the door open for more senior staffers to testify. The only question left is how creative can you be in coming up with crazy theories to spin the testimonies yet to come.

Nope. She lied.
🚨 A source close to the Secret Service tells me both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel.
My big takeaway was that Trump knew about people bringing guns and other weapons, and told staff to take away magnetometers -- "they're not here to hurt me". Hey President Trump, who ELSE might they hurt?
Then he REALLY wanted to go along to the Capitol building.
Then regarding the chants of "hang Mike Pence", Trump said he thought Pence deserved it.
And Meadows wasn't going to do anything.
Great testimony from Meadows' chief of staff Hutchinson.

After today, anyone with an IQ over 90 knows what some of us have known for a long time: DJT is going to die in federal prison.
The only way he won't is if he's lucky enough to die before he gets there.
It now shifts to a question of the time-line: is there a chance MG will charge him *soon*, or are there still lots of intermediate steps to come?
I don't claim to know for sure, but I know this: whatever timeline folks *thought* it was on, it just got a whole lot shorter. And Trump knows it, too --which is probably the sweetest part of the whole thing.
This was a truly great day for America: we finally know we have a real *chance*, at least, to take back the country from the grasp of the cabal of Christo-Fascist psychopaths and mafia criminals who've made an incredibly serious and terrifying bid to seize control of it.
That's worth a drink.
The DOJ won't do anything until after the committee breaks for the election cycle in July. Then they can use their stronger powers to demand cooperation from those who either already have or might be inclined to ignore a subpoena.
They have, however, started to gather info. The raid on the Trump attorney last week was big. Mark Meadows may have a big part in this when it is all said and done. Rudy as well but I think Meadows is the guy the committee and possibly the DOJ thinks has the information and might be the most willing to provide it.
You've clearly got at least some of that way wrong. DOJ already announced it's *not* gonna prosecute Meadows for Contempt --so that's a non-issue-- but today we found out *why*.
They've got him utterly fried on MUCH bigger charges than that. (It was already pretty clear that was *probably* true, but today erased any doubt.) So yeah, they definitely might finally get him to turn now, but it's no longer got anything to do with enforcing a subpoena; it's now purely an issue of 'You're going down on federal felonies that'll get you 20 years; this is your *last* chance to try and help yourself a little, if you want.'
And DOJ has already done a *lot*, so saying they won't do a thing till July is pretty silly.
If you mean they won't consider indicting Trump till July, that's *probably* true, but we'll see how it evolves. It's finally become clear this week that they *are* cooperating pretty heavily with the Committee (it *wasn't* all that clear till the last few days, really), but it's also now plain as day they've got TOTAL justification for arresting him any freaking time they want to.
That bell's tolling for YOU, Donny. It's just a matter of when the axe falls.
The biggest new evidence, was the verbal pressure some of these WH staffers are under to toe the Trump line, it's Gotti- esque, and in writing, from witnesses at the end of today's hearings were very revealing about how Trump worked, the threats involved
If the DOJ explores this, it has the potential to be Trump's biggest problem.
Say *what*?? If you think that was the biggest thing that happened, you've got no clue what you watched today.
Trump is going down for Seditious Conspiracy. Gotti-esque witness-tampering (which he undoubtedly *did*, of course) is about number 11 on his list of top problems at this point.
Today erased the last vestige of goofy doubt that we'd be 'able to prove Trump *knew* what was happening J6,' or that he 'didn't know it was a crime,' or didn't have real *mens rea*, etc.
That ALL went out the freaking window this afternoon. He's so far past toast, he's just a block of pure carbon now.
Sure, they can (and should) pile on a few more years for threatening witnesses, but it ain't gonna matter much in real life.
He will die in federal prison. And no one in the history of the country has deserved it more.
You also make it sound like the DOJ is just *beginning* their case against Trump --which is ridiculous.
They've got everything the J6C has, and probably quite a bit more. They could easily indict him *tonight*, but yeah, they'll probably wait till the Committee finishes the work of building the public case first.

Yes, but she's a liar remember. Hearsay from a disgruntled worker that Trump didn't even know but he remembers that she wasn't good at her job.
The collective group of DiscoGary, carmine, and the like are dumber than a box of rocks, maybe a pebble or stone worth of intelligence each.
However, I get a kick out of their aggressive but convoluted responses here. Like they are the ultimate insider with so much knowledge and insight but it's obvious they are the stupidest ones here. You can't make this stuff up.

They love their Trump. I will never understand but I stopped trying.

Agree with this 100%. It is now 6-28-22 and these guys are still defending Trump. Carmine is still adding up the votes.

Fox News guest is making a case that Trump should have been obeyed when he grabbed the steering wheel to join the armed mob with their insurrection plans.
totally normal stuff here. Nothing to see.
How would Jan 6 have played out if they did obey him and allowed him to go to the Capitol?
So the right wing is going with this Vintage Trump Spin... Hutchison wanted a job but was denied. That is why she turned on Mango Mussolini.
Does that ring any bells? Of course it does! This is what Trump says about everyone that tells the truth about him. Oh yeah.. and he threw in... "I barely even know this woman"...
Have you heard that one before too? I bet you have...
Say what you will about Tump, Disgo Gary. But the man fights for everything he wants. Since back in the primaries in 2016, Trump doesn't just try to beat you - he tries to destroy you. Look what he did to those guys Raphael Cruz and Little Marco Rubio. He never let up ever during his Presidency, not even at the very end with the twilight's last gleaming. A guy in his 70s for Christ's sakes (!), trying to take out a Secret Service agent, commandeer a freaking limousine and go blazing down Pennsylvania Avenue to attack a session of the U.S. Congress with his bare hands. Who the hell has ever done that? The balls on this Trump guy are legion! Balls for the Ages.
He lied to his supporters, he knew they were armed, he directed them to the Capital to intimidate those that didn't support him. His goal was to steal control of a nation.
This is what happened on Oct 28, 1922 when Mussolini directed his blackshirt supports to march on Rome and steal leadership of Italy.

Anyone see similarities with another event?
No. This was a bunch of wannabe mall cops trying to rock the boat in the midst of thousands of people who had been worked up by all of the inconsistencies which were blown out of proportion in their echo chamber. Mussolini and Hitler were far more organized.
