Now you can see why Trump is hawking bibles. You Rs will be getting lots of texts from a guy who wears more makeup than Tammy Faye Baker.
NYT:
Former President Donald J. Trump has spent more than $100 million since leaving office, on lawyers and other costs related to fending off various investigations, indictments and his coming criminal trials, according to a New York Times review of federal records.
The remarkable sum means that Mr. Trump has averaged more than $90,000 a day in legal-related costs for more than three years — none of it paid for with his own money. Instead, the former president has relied almost entirely on donations made in an attempt to fight the results of the 2020 election.
Now, those accounts are nearly drained, and Mr. Trump faces a choice: begin to pay his own substantial legal fees or find another way to finance them.
You know what is refreshing though? Tump's ego always gets the best of him. No matter how good he's gotten at finding easy marks he always shoots himself in the foot. He's a chaos creator type - tries to solve a problem by creating two more. With every single person who got used by him and then seemed to stray a bit, he took the opportunity to step on their neck and kick them when they were down. He's done this to former allies, colleagues, family members and even voters. It's like Scaramucci once explained, when you meet Trump you always start with a 100 points in his eyes and you can only go down from there. He never gives and is like a black hole that eventually sucks everyone and everything around him into nothingness.

people who worked with trump have two basic options:
quit and admit to the world trump is an amoral criminal out to screw over everyone
or
stay loyal and risk jailtime in support of DJT's criminal schemes.
And remember almost all of DJT's schemes are out to hurt the nation. Cheating on taxes, stealing secret data, trying to overturn the government. You support trump, you are fighting against America.

One of the easiest ways to differentiate between a cult-like religious movement and a political party is the toleration of dissent and differing viewpoints.
This country was founded on political debate over issues. And the GOP was a part of that. It was welcomed by all.
Notice what happens in the modern day GOP if someone offers a differing view than Trump. In the last few pages of this thread, our Trumpers are labeling lifetime GOP members RINO's because they negotiated a border bill. This is a border bill that is fundamentally similar to the one that Trump tried to get going but failed even though he had full control of the govt. Trumpers tolerate no dissent from the dear leader.
Also, when it comes to his criminal liabilities, all of Trump's guilt is established by his own GOP staff members testifying under oath to grand juries, congress. But the moment anyone dares speak the Truth about Trump they are immediately a RINO.
In religion they call this excommunication and apostasy. In the religion of Trump, RINO means apostate from the faith.
The problem is that a compromise bi-partisan border bill between one group that wants illegal immigration and another group that wants zero illegal immigration results in one still allowing some illegal immigration. That is not acceptable to the latter. And speaking of ladder technology, well we have non lethal projectile technology.
You know damn well that is not why Rs did a last minute 180 on the border bill they negotiated for months.
Its amazing the cognitive back flips Trumpers have to do. The Republicans got what they wanted and the lead person was the extremely conservative Congressman Langford but the orange jesus said no.

And Trump told them to veto the bill before it was even read or known. He came straight out and said we don't want to do it to help Biden. You can blame me.
Once you know that, you can file all the right wing gaslighting bout the bill not being "good enough" or Biden should just do "an executive order" in the trash heap of Right wing BS. Anyone that tries to spin that is a pathetic hack.

well said
remember that the founding fathers really didn't want political parties to form. And we're seeing why, now.
also, the nation's founders knew Trump was coming and put all kinds of safeguards in place. They are coming up short, but at least they saw it and took steps.
Biden being Biden was kind enough to remind us he used to ride the rails over the Francis Scott Key bridge. Only problem is there was no rail service on the bridge.

Granted it is a dumb comment by an old guy. From my history of speaking with people over 80 it is pretty much par for the course.
Much different than the slanderous, race baiting, legally defaming, mob inciting, dictatorial rhetoric from Cheeto Jeebus with his newfound online Bible selling biz.
Most people easily will spot the difference. Trumpers not so much.
Hey Trumpers, did you get your $60 Trump bible yet? I see it is nicely embossed with the US flag and the words "God Bless the USA".
(Because we know that US Nationalism was J. Christ's hot topic along with using religious symbols like a flag. I think he really hammered it home about 2/3 of the way through the Sermon on the Mount. Right after that annoying stuff he said about forgiving people their trespasses)
Trevor has been slowly turning into a conservative for awhile. He’s a second year law student at a top school and member of the federalist society. Catherine and her parents have always been center right. She’s a first year law student and also a fed soc member. It’s a miracle these three voted for Biden at all. They have very traditional family values. Asian Americans. Conrad’s dad simply hates whoever is in power because he thinks he knows what’s best about everything. Charles will vote for the “smart business option” who he perceives to be Trump for whatever reason. EJs dad is like Catherine’s parents. Lifelong conservative who voted for Biden but is now returning. Marcus is my coworker who is sort of an anarchist Bernie crypto bro type but has voiced support for Trump over Biden. He straight up told me now that he got his, he’s likely to vote for whoever will help him keep it.
Morgan and Chris just had a baby (yay congrats) and have been spending a ton of time with their ultra conservative Christian family. Chris might stay a Biden voter but Morgan is very impressionable. She’s a fiercely independent “I can see both sides” type person. She doesn’t like Trump the person so that’s why I put probably.
Yeah thanks for taking the time to elaborate on your imaginary friends but it didn't help your cause. Did you mean LRC Trevor? Lolz
It's fine if you want to keep up the bit but I never said these people were my friends. Some are and some are people I have gotten to know through my law application discord. I only said that many people I know feel this way and have expressed it to me and others. That's true, and not a good sign for Biden's re-election chances. Maybe it's a small sample size and doesn't matter but the polling numbers currently show that it might. I wouldn't be so confident.
I don't think this Trevor runs. Catherine is a hobby jogger marathoner though.

Remember all that money you gave him to overturn a free and fair election? He spent it on his lawyers, not the coup. Ha. I laugh at you.

It doesn't matter how many names you drop and what their stories are. No one in their right mind is going to believe that more than an inconsequential number of people who picked Biden over Trump in 2020 are now convinced Trump is now their guy and they are going to vote for him. That is gravity defying. Try again.

If they believe they are sticking it to libs they'll buy a piece of trump's t$rd for $60.

In the words of the late great Adult in the Room, you are in a bubble. The conservatives here would easily believe it. Anyone paying attention to the polls would believe it. Step outside of yourself maybe
