This could represent a shift in the approach to olympic and world champ marathons courses. Rather than design for fast times design for pain, suffering and devastation

Bekele at 32nd now...5 places up in the last 5k...come on Kenny!!
Really not gonna find out who's toast from these hills until probably 35k. Not giving up hope on the chasers yet.
Carissa looks DAAAANGEROUS, am I the only one but did that last shot of Tola at 31k he seemed to be struggling a bit?

Can we get Kara Goucher to drop out?
I love hills!
could we see mantz snag a medal?
Was that Geleta chasing down Tola in 2nd? He could be a future great if he keeps it up
Swedish commentary talks about letsrun sub 4 mile too
Tola hasn't broken off. The chase group can work together and get him. This is proper biking like style marathon
This hill has been incredible camera/production work.
Chase pack is re-attaching!
Benson......Kipruto.....stalks his prey
Galeta looking really solid
In hindsight, we should've been a lot more pessimistic about Kipchoge's chances on this course given how he did in Boston and the variance that comes with age (more prone to bad days)
So about to be flat the final 10k right?

Is Wanjiru’s 2:06:32 OR possibly in play?
