Dude, you're grasping at straws. He did great in his state of the union address, so says even just about all Republicans. Your dementia thing is BS. Regarding the "Negro" comment, he's 81 years old. That was long an acceptable term. Even when I was a kid, that word was used all the time...on television, in newspapers. The UNCF is the United Negro College Fund after all, and that name still exists. Lots of things go out of favor over the years. When I was a kid, we played a tackle football game called "smear the queer." We called each other "gay" and "retarded" all the time. We used the word "midget" without any concern that someone might be offended by that. That was just a descriptive word. None of that flies today.
You can't be serious and try to compare Joe Biden's morality to Trump's in any way. Get serious. Biden wasn't taken to court for not renting apartments to black people.
Trump just said that if he doesn't win, there will be a "blood bath." That's the guy you support. Nice.
Congrats!
You fell for fake news. The bloodbath reference was about the automotive industry. What a maroon!

Four years ago today, March 19. Trump complained that Covid "could have been stopped right where it came from" in China "if we would have known about it."
We learned later that Trump was fully briefed on the threat in January and told Bob Woodward he deliberately downplayed it.
To be fair, there was nothing that anyone in the world could have done in January, 2020 that would have stopped COVID, regardless of what Trump claimed in March.

Correct, but less Americans would have died if he didn't spread lies AND trump tried very hard to be a walking conflict and shot himself in the foot endlessly on COVID through November (e.g. bleach comment). As the incumbent with a major campaign advantage this was a huge factor in his loss.

Wake up buddy. The damage was done and people will only remember the word "bloodbath". Ds can play the Trump party's little game pretty well when the opportunity arises.
They won't, but like Trump most are looking out for their own a$es and supporting him for now has been a means for them to keep their jobs and benefit from the grift. BUT keep in mind he's been pushing Rs to choose and most are happy to support him in public but have not gone as far as incriminating themselves. They know the risks. I don't doubt he would try to compel the House to help him out (via threats etc), but on what legal or procedural grounds? I agree wholeheartedly things will get very ugly, and we will see a lot more mouth breathers risking it all for master trump. And no, I am not very optimistic about our democratic institutions holding up. Our democracy is on the ropes and it is much more vulnerable than it seems. It won't improve magically either while most likely the Trump party will continue to take an axe to it.
by what procedural grounds will the House elect Trump? I'm sure you know this but for others who may not: The Constitution will be the grounds for the House to elect Trump.
If the electoral college can't come to a conclusion on who won the election, it gets thrown to the House, which votes by state delegation. The Rs always have more state delegations so they will elect Trump in a perfectly Constitutional coup, based on lies about the election.
So before the electoral college meets, the Republicans will file hundreds if not thousands of lawsuits all around the country, paralyzing the legal system with contradictory rulings, and the Electoral College will not be able to decide who got 270 votes. So it all goes to the House. Et voila: Trump2.
This was the plan in 2020 and this will again be the plan in 2024.
It's a coup, pure and simple and it's virtually unstoppable. All from evil Republicans who don't want to live in a democracy anymore.
Hypothetically you are right, but it's a little more complicated than that. But before we even discuss that further, Ds will be taking the House back anyway... so no go for a GQP supported coup.

Wrong! Go back to your RINO burrow. If Trump is robbed of another elective title, we WILL resort to all means necessary to correct the deliberative action. We will not play the patsy the second time around, having learned the lessons of yesteryear.

doesn't' matter which party has more members in the House or has the speakership...the count goes by states.
Rs are very likely to control the most state delegations in the next congress so they would elect Trump sure as the sun will rise tomorrow.

A pro-Trump lawyer who tried to overturn the 2020 election was arrested Monday after a court hearing about her recent leak of internal emails belonging to Dominion Voting Systems.

The damage was inflicted on the fake news media. Try again.
Flagpole - you make some really good points but NOTHING will be decided right before the election. NOTHING. All of these indictments and other stuff won't see the light of day prior to November. Trump WILL win the election.
Correct! Have you seen how much gas prices have surged in the last several weeks? Inflation hasn't subsided.
Mean tweets 2024!
1) The average rate of inflation over the last 50 years is 3.8%. Today it is at 3.2%. Boo hoo. Wage increase is now outpacing inflation.
2) Good grief man, you and gas prices. I can get gas today in my state still for under $3 a gallon. $3.05 at my local station (and with a likely dollar off with my next fillup at the Kroger station). With all that is done to produce a gallon of gas, that's well worth it. It's CHEAP compared to what most of the world pays for it. If you want gas for under $2 a gallon again, then wish for a DEEP recession or another pandemic. Not reasonable to expect gas to be back there.
3) We don't hate Trump because of mean tweets. We hate him because he's a serial liar, a criminal, a conman, a sexist, a racist POS who cheated on all three of his wives (most sinful President ever by far), stole from his "charity," cheated contractors out of their pay, put his unqualified relatives into high positions in the White House, sexually abused E. Jean Carroll (and judge said he raped her), cheated the State of New York out of hundreds of millions of dollars, stole classified materials and not only didn't give the back when asked, but HID them from investigators, oh, and a little thing he did...trying to overturn a fair election that he LOST. Those are the main things. There are TONS of other things including but not limited to: he's stupid as f*ck, his adult children are all entitled a$$holes, and he's a horrible, horrible narcissistic human being.
