I personally would sooner buy tsla, unless there is Apple Car news that I don't yet know about. Tsla has its sticky fingers in a lot of things. Solar is going nuts these days.
If you guys think Google and MSFT are overpriced then how can you recommend Tesla? PE is 200 with 1 trillion market cap. They sold like a million vehicles? Toyota sold ten million and has a market cap of 228bil. Everyone and their mom literally had an iPhone but only upper middle class and rich people can afford a Tesla. Isn't the younger generation moving away from owning cars too? They prefer to Uber/Lyft and spend on experiences instead of material things. Is solar even profitable for Tesla? LG makes top of the line panels and they are leaving the solar business because it's not profitable for them.

TSLA has the same problem as all large cap growth stocks.

Except Tesla is currently overpriced by about a trillion.
And only after having had somebody test it, first.
Rachet would be most comfortable sitting with Obama and Macron having a Stella Artois. Appropriate glass of course. Us commoners prefer hanging out with people that have actually worked for a living. Drinking beer out of a can is just fine, if not only a symbol of masculinity. Have to say the beach boys looked like they might like women.
Russian ruble's recovery masks disruptive impact of West's sanctions but it won't make Vladimir Putin seek peace Despite unprecedented sanctions and an exodus of Western companies, the Russian ruble – a widely followed indicator of the economy – has recovered all of its earlier losses. Meanwhile, billions of dollars continue to flow in from energy sales to Europe and elsewhere, which has allowed the Kremlin to keep paying its international debts.
PPI up 11.2%. It is a much less dishonest measure of inflation than is the CPI—and of course what they purport to describe are various price levels.
The question is whether commodities can be used to stake out territory on the other side of inflation. I see some commodities correcting in the medium term, but longer-term I see them as a good play.
I have a big payday coming this Friday. Thinking of putting it all into single-digit P/E stocks like Ford (P/E 3.45).
Autos a very cyclical business. Benefited from Fed activism (lower interest rates/bank liquidity for lending), construction (trucks), government stimulus (down payments), EV push, economic cycle. All of that is over.
