Nah. He's going to advocate for a selection committee all of a sudden

Oh my goodness, what a sweetie. She still slapped hands with someone in the stands while she was walking out crying.
😬
When they were doing her little fashion spot pre-race I remembered Donovan Brazier’s weird fishing profile before he finished DFL in the last Trials. The jinx was on.
Diffey even suggesting she could come back to the pack -- what a goddamn moron that guy is
Death, taxes and sage hurta choking. Time to hang up the spikes and go to med school
man, this is why you make as many standards as possible. Mu was the fastest 400m runner in the country, she could run that event as backup if she raced this year and had a trials qualifying time....
Wow, that was insane... women's 800 is gonna look different in Paris. Absolutely heartbreaking for Mu
Well, that sucks. Keely is now going to have to set a WR when she wins in Paris, otherwise all we'll hear is "would've"
Gotta feel bad for Mu....But lack of racing can't help...Every time she has raced the announcers say they are worried when she is in the pack

For sure. She will quit after this.
she almost could have lost out anyway. if she was good enough to go out and front and lead the way she is capable from the front, she would have been up there.
the hamstring injury is unfortunate. she just wasn't ready yet. maybe in another 5 weeks she could have been
Heartbreaking to see her like that but honestly this is what happens when you don't ever race. You forget how to navigate a pack when all you do is bust out reps on your own. You gotta have that race experience.
Gutted for Mu, thrilled for Allie Wilson and Whittaker. I called Wilson making the team yesterday, her move in the semis showed she was feeling it
Sorry, I have to let it out. I hate Allie Wilson's voice.

That is a really hard way to lose for Mu. You can see that she is visibly upset post-race, but I also can't help but feel that part of this is down to such a limited racing schedule. Opening your season at the trials is not a smart choice. I hope that she re-groups and finds herself a new coach after this season.
“Defending olympic champion who clearly doesn’t have enough racing experience, have you considered that if you raced more you wouldn’t have been tripped? 🤓🤓☝️”
The replay said it all, she tried to merge where there wasn't room.
i dunno I think Noah Lyles could probably do with a few cross country seasons, build up his leg strength for the second half of the 200

She was tripped. Didn’t even make it 100 meters. I’m with you on the need to race more, but this wasn’t bad tactics or pacing. Moving towards the pack, she got clipped from behind. Just a waste.

She got messed up by the Mu fall, she tripped over her and ended up off the track.
Baltimore area Whittaker shows up!!
