Well tonight I'm in a NYC groove. Wife and daughter are there and I'm here in Central Texas taking care of the cat.

How cools is this?
My brother and I had their Mystic Eyes 45. I was never a big fan of Van Morrison. I have a story that's remotely about him. It was either 1977 or 1979, I'm in Cafe Sommersko, Copenhagen, with a Dane and Kiwi. This guy walks in with a Van Morrison jacket on, someone said he was a roadie as VM was in town for a concert. My 2 friends were hardcore punk and started saying (in Danish) some disparaging remarks about VM's music. The roadie has this Danish woman with him who is obviously drunk, but not drunk enough. She hears what my friends are saying and causes a row. The roadie obviously didn't speak or understand Danish and has no idea what the commotion is about. I'm lmao. Finally my Danish friend tells her to f off and we leave, the woman still yelling at us and the poor guy with a wtf just happened look on his face.
Ok, gente, great story.
if I had to think of what great rockers came out of Texas besides Stevie Ray V., first thought is of this legend, who I grew up listening to (on records).
