Thanks nyloco for pulling up that document, I was about to point to that same document. I also "googled" Bend, OR, and see that there were announcements of the 2013 Club XC nationals selection reported in some local papers; didn't find anything on the USATF website yet.

------------------------------------------------------------
As for my own week, not much. As I indicated last week, my right foot was hurting on the outside midfoot region, and I was a little fearful I might be getting a stress reaction. Still not fully sure. My Sun-Sat daily totals were: 0,1.5,3,3.5,3,0,8 for a grand total of 19 miles. Purposely kept it low, and felt things were feeling pretty good by Thursday, Friday just got so bogged down with meetings, proposals to be completed/presented, and events to attend, that I just couldn't get out the door. Saturday, had a nice run with a 1-mile surge @6:06 in the middle, but afterwards, the foot is a little tender. Still can't tell whether it is just muscular (seems so) or something more serious. I'll keep an eye on it and tread cautiously for the foreseeable future.
Hope everyone is having a great week, and again, good luck to those running in the very competitive Club XC meet this coming weekend in Seattle! Make sure you get down to the Pike Place Market while you're there. Maybe make it up to my favorite little haunt Murphy's' Pub up in Wallingford, and have a pint for me. Ahhh, those were good times.
Keep it real!
