She was beat. Cranny deserved that win and being pushed out to lane 3 cost her at least .05 seconds.

Valby had to make it a fast race to have a chance, very brave race, she has a bright future, great race for all the Woman.

solid 12 hour turnaround from the women's 5000 final to the 1500 heats the next morning. men have the same turnaround but from the 1500 to 5000, which I don't think will concern Jakob. Elle shouldn't have trouble with the 1500 heats, but that schedule really sucks
Welp. :(
Oh dear 😳
RERUN THE RACE

Cue Rojo RERUN THE RACE
so sorry for Mu, not a way you want to a season progress for someone who's clearly had some struggles coming back.

What the hell… that was the worst race of the trials.

US medal hopes down the drain and this loser is running victory laps because she “deserved it”
Mu running Mo problems
That is a really hard way to lose for Mu. You can see that she is visibly upset post-race, but I also can't help but feel that part of this is down to such a limited racing schedule. Opening your season at the trials is not a smart choice. I hope that she re-groups and finds herself a new coach after this season.
