Jaelyn Williams achieved the goal she'd been working towards all season of breaking 10 minutes, with a 9:57.11 .
And after dealing with injuries earlier this season, Hanne Thomsen managed to get 2nd place in 9:59.81 . Very impressive considering that she wasn't able to break 11 minutes this year until April 24.
Both 3200 were great races. No waiting for the last 800.
Parra's 400m,800m and 1200m splits in the 3200m were all faster than the splits in the1600m final. He has no fear, but 2.05.04 for the first 800m was not optimal pacing. I still think he can go around 8:40 in a better paced effort.
grant morgenfeld had a nice comeback to his season. He was always stuck at 8:49-8:50 and he didn't improve at all during the cross season but comes back and pushes noonan with a 8:44. Did not expect that.
San Clemente won the 4x800 like they did during some big invitationals like Arcadia.
Granada lost many seniors but they took second
Feel like Cathedral shouldn't have sacrificed Perez in the 4x800 and 1600 and should've just ran him in the 3200 vs. Parra, Noonan, and Morgenfeld. He had one of the fastest 3200 times in California state history. Hope we can see them all one final time in a fast 3200.

I think you will see Perez and Morgenfeld at Brooks PR
