I’m impressed with this Demoor guy. If he trains a little harder, maybe he can qualify for Boston next time!

Rojo owes JGault $10. Down payment for that new car.
JG doesn't have a new car yet? WTF!
The ESPN commentating was exquisitely awful.
Tollefson saying Molly broke the course record, "2:24 something, I don't have the exact time, but well inside Shalane's course record". Then the fat guy saying "yes, Shalane's course record was 2:26:5x".
WTF! Kara must love that kind of blunder...
Strong showing for the American women. Seidel ran great, but Taylor (2:26:10) , Frisbie (2:26:18), and Thweatt (2:27:00) were right behind in place 6-7-8. Great showing on a tough course.

Jepchirchir is entering the goat conversation. Wow, Seidel is a natural born marathoner. Amazing. What can she run on a flat fast course under good conditions? Any chance she can manage the AR? She seems to be getting stronger and stronger.
Careful. We were saying the same about Jordan Hasay not too long ago

Performance of the day.
Is anybody going to Alexi Pappas's "Marathon Afterparty" for cocktails and beer at Ray's Barn?
How can a pro blow up so badly? After 10k already slowing down significantly? Why didnt she stop? I mean .... 26:33 is 5:19 or so km pace. She started for 245 magnitude and loses more than 30min after 10k? WTF?
Bekele was fat yet again on the start line like he was 6 weeks ago. The only time he has been truely in shape on the start line was when he ran 2:01, He was super skinny on that start line. We need weigh ins the day before the race like boxing
Ok no, Berlin everyone around him was saying “best shape he’s been in in years”. It’s not his shape, he’s just old. Nothing wrong with that but the excuses are sad
I agree. Not to be rude but he was looking heavy in the lower body at Berlin. He’s still an out of this world talent, but if he wants to really challenge kipchoge he’s going to have to lose the little bit of weight. It adds up a lot over 26.2 miles.

Hey, Bekele didn’t DNF when he wasn’t winning!
He 1-upped Haile's NYC marathon in that regard
That´s when Haile blamed an uncomfortable pillow in his hotel bed for his DNF.
Yeah the coverage was weak. They didn't show a lot of the runners times as they finished, and they didn't cover the top American finishers very well. Show us all of the top 10! Show Ben True! Show Frisbe! Also, it was hard to be clear that Jeptoo was Lagat's sister as Lagat was hard to understand and he kept switching names when he mentioned her, sometimes saying Viola. Then when there was an emotional moment between Lagat and Jeptoo after the finish, and the cameras missed it completely. Then the announcer called Molly Seidel Molly Huddle. Winning.

Why do we have Lagat as a commentator? Why doesn't Meb do it?
Meb's sister was not running there.
ESPN is all about human interest stories.
How did Gwen jorgensen finish? Missed her on the podium.
Sure, sure.

So what will be Bekele’s excuse today?
There is a civil war going on in Ethiopia.
OK but on a serious note, Bekele is officially 39 but possibly 42. For a man his age, he is doing excellent.
How many 40 year olds are still world class in any sport ?

Wise, not wise. Running her FIRST major. By the time, in 2-3 years, that she has had some domination over a fair period of time, YY and Gidey will be crushing her by a full minute
