News and mass media have always been mostly horsesh!t. The difference is that in the past people had to work a little more for their information, and the act of simply walking to a library and picking out a book to verify something is substantial and it compounds quickly. The internet has provided a multitude of of paths of least resistance.
Here is something I would bet $100 Igy hasn't done. We've told him multiple times that zerohedge is fake news bullsh!t, but I doubt he has ever sat down and said "OK, I get a lot of my information from here, so let's see what all this is about," then performed just 15-30 minutes worth of Google searching and information collecting (aka real qualitative research).
