How soon til Trump blames the lawyers and refuses to pay them?
In hindsight, these charges never would have surfaced if Trump paid his bills like a real billionaire.
He stiffed and/or slow paid Pecker and Cohen.
If he had pardoned Cohen he would not have had this case against him. He is a petty man and his hubris has cost him now in multiple court losses. Pretty much all of them so far. They were mostly avoidable with minimal forethought and maybe just shutting his mouth once in a while.

He owes them nothing, they failed him. Patriots please contribute.
Focus, man. This is Trump's first night as a convicted felon. Any jail bird will tell you that is the hardest night in the whole ordeal. Trump is lying in bed, tossing and turning about his decision to plead the Fifth like a common creep. That's what sunk his azz. He knows it.
This is actually an interesting CNN interview with Trump's lead counsel Todd Blanche. I think I've said in the past that Blanche is a cut above the usual Trump idiot lawyer. He somewhat shows that here. Sharp guy, at least in interviews. Note that he concedes a lot of things for purposes of appeal, but he's right. And you can tell what they will be focusing on for appeal.
Also note that he says he's winging on down to Florida tomorrow for a hearing in the Bathroom case. This dude never stops to sleep!

I'm sure Trump is done with him since he's now a loser. He was loyal to Trump but trump is never loyalty back. He will probably stop paying him what he owes for Legal costs too.
Are you high? The murder plot got foiled. Some whistleblower let Trump know the FBI was coming to Florida to kill him, and he packed his bags and bailed on Mar-Lag, hightailed it back up to Bedminster.
Three guys got biffed in Wisconsin for fake elector certificates. Felony counts of forgery and boofery. Wisconsin state court (not federal).
1. The CheeseBro - I think he faces more charges across the country than anyone, including Trump. There's a LOT more guilty rat/fink pleas in the poor Cheeseman's future.
2. Jim Troupis - Trump's man on the ground in Wisconsin.
3. Mike Roman - managed to fly under the radar until recently
Here is Complaint filed in Dane county, WI. There could be more individuals charged. Some interesting stuff in the Complaint. Cheeser, who has pled guilty to similar charges in Georgia, was meeting with Wisconsin investigators as late as December 20, 2023. See footnote 5 on page 7. He actually produced documents at the interview. But very KEY - in the interview, Cheese denied using Twitter to surreptitiously send messages to other criminals, but CNN investigation outed him as using "BadgerPundit" on Twitter to send message related to the crimes. So Cheese may have already violated his Georgia plea deal and face charges of lying to Wisconsin investigators.

Forgot to add the freaking link. Unforced error. Slippage.
Seeing Rep. Massie grandstanding today in Congress and pretending like AG Garland invented the Special Counsel out of thin air just to fvck Trump over, now has me worried about Judge Cannon. Trump filed a motion to dismiss the Bathroom case arguing Special Counsel has no authority and the hearing is later this month. What is worrisome is that Cannon allowed two Amicus guys to actually argue at the hearing (not just submit briefs), and this is exactly the type of stuff Cannon would love to dismiss on - nothing to do with the actual merits of the case, but rather an obscure argument about un-Constitutional "government overreach."
Special Counsel has been around since Nixon, and Trump's AG even appointed a few. I think normal people consider it a good thing to have certain cases prosecuted outside of DOJ. But maybe not at this particular time with this specific defendant.
If Trump wins on this, can't the DOJ just say "Fine. We'll take over the case and prosecute it."? I can't imagine every Special Counsel case just gets permanently dismissed.

I don’t see why not. no double jeopardy yet.
It’s getting to the point where it seems preferable to the prosecution that she dismisses it. That would stop her endless delays. She has made zero rulings on anything of substance and the case is going backwards and not forward.
Even if you gave Cannon the benefit of doubt and assume she is not bias, isn’t the fucqing job of a Judge to move the case forward?
She grants hearings for everything that other judges would decisively rule on and dismiss with one sentence. And even when she denies Trumps motions she does it without prejudice so it can be raised again later. She is the cause of this simple case being made complex for no reason other than to please the guy that wants it delayed.

It's crazy. That New York hush porn trial was filed in March 2023, and had trial in May 2024. The Bathroom case was filed June 2023 and the last time the prosecution asked Cannon to set a trial date, she actually said she was too busy to do so because she had so many motions backed up that need deciding. Who ever heard of a criminal case that doesn't even have a trial date? And she's claiming she's too busy handle all the work and set a trial date, but yet she just extended the hearing on this Special Counsel issue by two hours just so she can hear from THIRD parties with absolutely no interest in the case. Again, I'm worried that she believes she is the district judge who should tear down the use of Special Counsel as -- get this, un-Constitutional. She's bananas. She's embarrassing herself, but doesn't seem to realize it.
